TyFrameLock, did you follow up with Reese Weiland to see if I had called him? Please do report your findings so we can wipe the "lied" word off my record.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, at least I've made one good thing happen out of this so far... I just bought and received this nice RJ Martin 5-1/4" Kwaiken with a Bat Menuki from Reese Weiland as a part of my discussion with him on the Acies fix.
(now THAT is a victory lap! ... Lemonaaaade... that cool refreshing drink ... bee shoo bee doo... )
You win, I am gone.
Yeah, we win alright. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the content of both threads that causes you to admit that you've "lost." We must just be ganging up on you, right? Stop acting like a victim here.
You didn't act honorably and you didn't own up to your responsibilities as a forum member or exchange seller. Whether mutual agreement was made on an inspection period or not, the golden rule that has been repeated to you several times throughout these threads is theee most important and supersedes all other rules. You can't pick and choose the rules you wish to abide by, especially when you've overlooked the most important one of all, conveniently.
The fact that Rob asked for the inspection time immediately upon receiving the knife throws your piddly argument out the window.
I believe post #43 explains everything.
Very well said. :thumbup:
Seriously, Rob. Stop with the "click" stuff. I don't think you're impressing anyone, at this point. Personally, I wouldn't deal with either party from this exchange. One guy can't hold up his end of the deal, and the other guy has a smug attitude and loves drama. This is one poor display of how people should act, all around.
Responded to privately.
Yup I agree. I won't do business with either but I decided not to do business with Rob on the last ridiculous GB&U thread. What ever happened with that? Was the guy convicted of mail fraud? lol.
Please elaborate. What does the "...I am gone" part mean exactly.
Translation: Anything from not responding to your question to leaving the site, take your pick.
Personally, i think this whole deal was blown way out of proportion and could've been handled in a more adult manner.
IMO I think its fine that Rob gets to vent his frustrations here and call out so to say. Especially when the other person hasnt admitted to being in the wrong and questions Robs honesty and integrity. I think Rob is still waiting to hear some sort of apology or acknowlegement that Ty didnt handle the deal in the correct manner.
Roll around with pigs and you'll be covered in mud. Both parties are now clay coated. Rob has just plain acted like some petulant child on the verge of a temper tantrum and the other guy is ethically challenged.
It happens. But I did shower ... twice. And I changed my underwear this week. So I've got that workin' for me.
If I had any feelings, you'd have hurt them with that remark... ;) (No, I'm serious. I don't have any particularly strong feelings here in cyberspace. People say things they'd NEVER say to my face.)
I'm done with this thread. =
About damn time. You'd have taken the high road if you'd left your total posts to page 1.
I'm not trying to hurt you feelings, I certainly have no animosity towards you, I've bought a knife or two from you and had no problems. I just call 'em as I see 'em. This went on way too long.
Agree with this completely. But then again...that's what GBE is all about. You usually end up laughing at both the offender and the aggrieved party, because neither know when to leave well enough alone.
