Uberknives has resurfaced as Ubertacs.com and also changed their name to Ubertacs on FB.
 
Well, at least, the up and coming rap star's contact info is there. You guys could try contacting his facebook/phone to get your money back.

I think it could be something clinical.

I just jumped on there, and reading that was painful and sad.......

Not sure how someone can expect to continue going after all of this with a 'name change' but I guess that's got something to do with low IQ part.
 
I have no dog in this fight, but just for curiosity sake, I went to the new website just for fun. What did I find? Part of the site broken, Error 404 - Not Found. So I decide to dig into what inventory is listed. Every single item (and I mean EVERY) was listed as out of stock....except one. A GIFT CARD. It actually made me giggle out loud.

How many ways can you say, "we don't have anything to sell, but send us your money....please."

I so hope those taken get restored. But the entire company story smells a little like three day old shrimp in the sun.
 
If you Google UBERTACS this thread comes up ahead of their actual website.

I think that's enough help for future customers to make an informed decision on the company based what they have done here, and maybe why you should buy that knife somewhere else.

There is at least some good that has come out of this thread, and this will always be out there.

I know that's a small conciliation for many of you.
 
This guy has now made a rap video in honor of his "haters" on Bladeforums. Eminem, look out! Eforty in da house!

maybe the funniest thing i've seen today. that kid can't be being serious with that bladeforum hate video deal can he? i can say for sure i'd never send this kid money for any product...........
 
I'm truly embarrassed for the kid. Seems he has a lot to learn about business. And rapping.
 
You think as you go through life, that you learn about a lot of things, and become wiser. Then I see the Ubertacs FB page and watched some very disturbing videos from someone clearly disturbed. Despite knowing what I now know, I apologize for ever defending and recommending them. Even if Ubertacs got it together from this time forth, I could never get out of my head, the videos I just viewed.
 
This kid is only 22 years old it seems. As bad as all this is, this is the future. :barf:

What kind of clientele is he after with all of this? Who does he think would do business with him? Who is he trying to impress?

What would make anyone make videos like those unless they were seriously disturbed?

I have a feeling anyone buying the knives still listed on ebay will end up getting ripped off too.
