I thought I was gonna catch up on a few days of snark but I seemed to have wandered into the firearms thread again.....
And King: I want YOUR job.....my boss was out riding his motorcycle Friday night while 3 of the 4 techs in our office were working OT until 23:00, plus an hour to get home. He'll be dead before he takes anyone of us out for a beer.

In other news, we made an improvised instrument out of a honeybear from the mess and sent it down on the vehicle three times. It held to 900m. Aw yeah. Useful data? not really, but an entertaining proof of concept.

Silver he wouldn't even buy me that slingshot/slingbow/bowfishing setup i wanted... So uncool LOL
It's called the hammer. Made by the same people who sell the Scout slingshot. I like that you can switch the head without any tools and go from slingshot to slingbow quickly.
I just ordered it though so I'll give Hoss a free pass this time...
Hoping i get it before Sunday... If so I'll be trying it out on some fish then. I got around 500 3/8" steel bearings here already for practicing with the slingshot head.

You might want the relaxed atmosphere, but you certainly wouldn't want the pay that comes with it
It's entry-level and only tiding me over until I can put my nearly-finished CS degree to use, hopefully. Also, not a day after the beer run there was a sprinkler malfunction that caused the head right over our work area to explode and shower hundreds of gallons of rusty old water on everything that was good and pure in this job (i.e. my departments' computers and paperwork and stuff). Monday and today were both spent cleaning up and rebuilding, basically the only things that survived were the computers (surprisingly).

Hoss that works as long as we get together and shoot them sometimes ..lol The guns that I really want are so dang pricy ! I want a Benelli Marine issue Shotty Decked out, A tricked out VEPR, a Springfield Armory Socom scout tricked out, a Tavor, a Para Black ops recon. and a GOOD .357 revolver plus you know all the other guns ..lol
Sounds like a good start. I get paid in a couple days. Gonna order a Finnish M39 and a Swiss K1911 carbine. Then I'll probably go back to looking at evil black stuff or just decking out what I have.

I've thought about picking up an M39, just not sure i can justify it. However I do really want a k11 or k31. I love those swiss straight pull rifles
