I couldn't agree with you more and with the risk of sounding like I'm blowing smoke up your A$$ I think you're 100% correct. I already feel that "most" of the people on here are honest to a fault if that's possible. I have moved on but I feel obligated to respond to others that want to know if things worked out. I did after all start the post and everyone's been so good at following this thread it wouldn't be fair to leave anyone hanging. When everyone quits responding I'll quit posting on this thread also. If anyone wants to help me get un pi$$ed give me a show of hands. Who won't do business with Underdogizhere whether he's still on here or not.

WAS BLOWING SMOKE UP MY ASS !!!what ashame especially when i was trying to help . he only had sour grapes when i caught him in the lie in the underdog situation :confused: yes i admitted to sending him the wrong blade but i made the deal right by sending him a nos spydie viele totaly lnib mike you are putting tooo much on it saying it was rusty . as for melvin purvis comment on me making the deal right , i already did . he was satisfied and e mailed me as such at that time . NO , I WILL NOT "UNWIND " A DEAL 6 MONTHS LATER !!! stuff has been traded off etc . i made an honest mistake , stepped up to the plate . i asked him at the time what he wanted to do , even offering up that wolfman601 was willing to pay 400.00cash at that time for the duncan . i was only selling it because i got tired of iras blowing smoke about when he would have the money . mike aos has no bitch with me . my rep stands if he had a problem with the deal , why did he say i was a good guy and thanked me in the aos vs underdog tnt deal????//:confused: mike aos is a liar plain and simple look at my GBU RECORD - FLAWLESS !!! So, there's no point in muddying the waters by being vulgar...it doesn't make your case any stronger...

To that end, you may want to try being just a tad politer buddy.

I know, it's hard...there's not a day goes by that I don't want to 'SCREAM' at someone here, but I don't...because to do so would be bad form, and every time I 'lose it', it just makes the offender's case that much stronger...you know what I mean? ;)

CONTRARY to the crap Mike keeps spewing about the "world of dirty cops", simply place a phone call to Jerry's immediate supervisor and explain this incident.

You will be amazed at how quickly this will trigger an INTENSIVE Internal investigation. If Jerry in any way sacrificed his INTEGRITY to come out ahead, eventhough it took place off-duty, he is in a world of trouble.

Although what Jerry did here, he did as a member of BF, NO COP can EVER engage in ANY conduct which is other than honorable. Once caught, it will have a significant impact on his career.

Mike keeps complaining about "bad cops" here, but this ain't the place. Everytime he had contact with a bad cop, he should have called a good cop. Out of 500,000, there are one or two.

Timmer, if Jerry stuck you with a knife and lied at any point during the transaction all you need to do is drop a dime. I can assure you he will have JAMMED himself severely from that moment on.

I had $300 and told you that when I had $400 I would buy it. Pretty simple concept, but you "rich" guys just don't get it. You "demanded" $400, I could NOT come up with it. I apologize for being a "pauper" Jack, but some of us just do not have that kind of money available all the time.

But it would have been a "good DEAL" for you. Ira paying you $400 for a knife you bought a week earlier for $300!!!! Oh Jackie, it suks to be poor..................Ira:p :p

Not a bad idea. The military was similar. I assume everyone (and especially those of us with a high security clearance) was expected to conduct ourselves professionally, on or off-base. If your off-duty behavior could be construed as a security risk (and everything was), then they'd pull your clearance. Without a clearance, you can't do your job. So they find some other job for you -- and it's not NEARLY as enjoyable.

Gentlebeings, everyone who reads this thread in the future will have to read through six pages of ... um ... stuff already. If you feel moved to post irrelevant stuff please post it in the appropriate thread. There is a thread about the honesty of cops to post that stuff in, with two links to it in this thread, and there are a couple of hundred threads about Jaxurman in this forum ... and if you think of any other irrelevant stuff to post you can start a new thread for it. It's easy; there's a "new thread" button right next to the "post reply" button.

If a post consists entirely of irrelevant stuff I can move it to another thread, but if it has some relevant stuff mixed in, editing posts is too intrusive.

We are not in a hurry to ban a member in the middle of a discussion here, but it seems clear underdogizhere has decided this discussion is over as far as he is concerned, and it's clear what he thinks the conclusion is. He deleted all his posts from this thread after people pointed out he was displaying his character, including the ones that said he was leaving Bladeforums, and he posted a trade offer last night.

I've run into technical difficulties banning him, but I expect that will be resolved shortly.
 
I would like to address a couple of things:

AOS and WOLFMAN...before you recommend that a person contact anyone's supervisor about anything, the complaintant should have their FACTS straight..OPINIONATED views and allegations are widespread..EXAMPLE: timmer says the spring was broken when he got it..i say it wasn't..it fired for us both..and in his ORIGINAL e-mails, he stated he fired it several times in front of people..before noticing the defect..but, again this is neither here nor there..it is MY WORD/OPINION against HIS..plain and simple.


Wolfman on recommending threats or cause liabel damage..are you not the one that stated how POLICE are like everyone else and should be evaluated as such..and if so, why would you recommend contacting a Police Officer's supervisor to FORCE them to do something that is based purely on OPINION..could a Police Officer contact an office clerk, a data entry clerk, a mechanic or a car salesman's supervisor and report a difference of opinion?
seems to me kinda like a reversal..using one's job against them rather than for them..FAIR?
I WOULD BE GLAD FOR YOU TO GIVE ME A CALL so we can discuss the FACTS of what transpired rather than emotions...


Additionally, when i was contacted that the knife was broken..i was told by the buyer that he DID NOT want to send the knife back as he liked it but was bummed out that the spring was broken..i wrote him back and told him that the knife did not seem broken when i shipped it but, i was not a DA experct..but, since he did not want to send it back and he DID SAY IT WAS BROKE..he could send it to vallotton and he would fix it to his specifications and if any cost was involved i would pay..i got an e-mail from the buyer asking me to NEVER contact him again and just forget about the whole thing..so, i sent another e-mail anyway and said that i did not understand..but, would pay to have the knife fixed..again, i got a nasty e-mail telling me to NOT EVER contact him again...

Since all of this has gone on and DARKMAN made the comment about him having to send the knife to vallotton before shipping it to me..i did a little research..
it seems that DARKMAN or DARKWING or lottsforgenbladz or whatever he is CURRENTLY calling himself has been banned from many forums EVEN THIS ONE..http://www.usualsuspect.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1686..for underhanded activity.

So, NOW i feel that Timmer and i BOTH have been taken by this guy..and that he disguised the spring somehow and it just happened not to break with me because i only fired it once..

i wish you guys would listen to what i have been trying to say..i did offer to PAY FOR REPAIRS..but, because Timmer was mad, was told NO and NEVER TO CONTACT HIM AGAIN..

as a side note, i have recently completed 2 knife deals involving several high-dollar knives and am in the process of doing 2 more where the people (forum members) sent me the knives ON MY WORD, AFTER reading this thread and even making mention of it..but, they said that they believed in what i was trying to convey..and that my intentions were good..so, they would see for themselves..in a few days once these transactions have been completed..hopefully, you can read their experiences.

in closing..this was an opinion based situation where i didn't think the knife was broken when i shipped it but, timmer did..NO DEPARTMENT, COURT OF LAW, ect..will make someone do something based on this type of activity..but, i DID TRY to make it right..REGARDLESS of what you negative persons think.

Let's try not to get overexcited, gentlebeings. Underdogizhere has been posting irrelevant personal attacks against everybody and his hamster, including his friends who've tried to help him salvage his reputation ... consider the source.

When darkman first came on the net he posted some messages that could be interpreted as advertising in inappropriate places. That has no relevance to anything in this thread.

Although underdogizhere's last post looks considerably more rational on the surface than anything he posted earlier, it's clear his attitude hasn't changed a bit. He'll be banned as soon as we sort out some technical difficulties.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I am a staunch and firm believer in the Oath we as Police Officers took. While we are no different than any other human, we MUST live our lives at a much higher standard because we are held to a higher standard. I subscribe to that and thought you did too. We are human however and do make mistakes, and some Cops do not deserve to wear the badge. That's where the difference lies between citizens and cops.
When it is alleged that you, a Police Officer [and you have made it clear in this knife deal, that's what you do for a paycheck] steps over the line by lying to another during the course of a business transaction, you are alleged to have VIOLATED that solemn oath you took when you were appointed to the position of responsibility, and authority you hold. You must set the example, live your life "unsullied", and be a man of your word. Jerry, that's sacred sh*t brother.
My comments have nothing to do with what darkman posted, they have EVERYTHING to do with what Timmer posted and your actions in deleting your posts and inserting dancing baby .Gif files and childish responses. You know DAMN WELL as a cop, you are held to a much higher standard than that. When you had your chance to explain, you "copped" an attitude.

Reminds me of the two Spydercos I say I got screwed out of, and the other formite says he sent a Gerber 600. SOMEONE AIN'T TELLING THE TRUTH. I was forced to eat my loss and that really stunk. That too involved me posting alot and the other formite posting very little and then engaging in childish behavior. But he is not bound by the higher standards someone like you are. If that formite was a Police officer, I would have dropped a dime, presented my evidence and we both know how quickly an "Internal" would have been initiated. That's probably the best way to handle this. You have chosen to ignore offers to help, chosen to delete post upon post, and chosen to finger point instead of working to a resolution.

No one listened when i said i offered the buyer a suggestion to his quandry then offered to pay for ANYTHING he was out of pocket for.. TO AVOID either of us blaiming the other....HE NEVER HAD TO ASK!

But, he wrote me saying he wanted NOTHING to do with me..wanted NO OTHER DEALINGS with me..wanted it to be a DEAD issue and for BOTH of us to move on..

THAT IS THE FACTS..so, what could ANYONE OF YOU DO, in a situation like that..you offered and was shut down!

We could repost all the messages underdogizhere deleted (I have copies of nearly all of them and no doubt others have the one or two I missed); timmer could post all the emails leading up to this thread -- but I can't see any need to do that. We've seen enough; six pages of this ought to be enough to satisfy anybody. Even for those who are just arriving and didn't see the deleted posts I think it ought to be clear enough, but if isn't send me an email and I'll zip it all up and send it to you.

and be sure to ask timmer to show you just ONE e-mail where i refused to do anything or told him that HE WAS ON HIS OWN or to GET LOST or tough luck..or cussed him..I DIDN'T...not a single one..i stayed in contact with him until he sent me a final e-mail (a couple days prior to the GBU post) asking me to NEVER CONTACT HIM AGAIN and to LET IT GO!

but, make sure he DOES include the...i believe 2nd e-mail, where i offered him a resolution and the 3rd e-mail where i offered to PAY FOR IT ALL..and that he DOES NOT forget his replies to me where he told me FLATLY that he did not want to reutrn the knife because he actually liked it and wanted to keep it and to GET LOST and to NEVER BOTHER HIM AGAIN..
 
Jerry, I read everyone of your posts and understand exactly what you are trying to say. The fact that you offered to pay to have the knife fixed is definitely in your favor as far as I am concerned. What is not is the fact that in one of those posts that you deleted you admit to telling him that as far as you were concerned you sent him a knife that was working exactly the way you got it and that timmer must have broken it and for that reason you would not refund him his money. Do you really blame timmer for not wanting to have anything to do with you after something like that? Telling him it was him that broke it when he said that it wasn't, was calling him a liar. If you had done that to me, I wouldn't have wanted to have anything to do with you either. The only email from you after that that would have changed my way of thinking about you would have been one in which you apologized for blaming me for breaking the knife and that to make things good between us you would be willing to refund my money.

You obviously disagree that this was the proper way to handle this situation. That is up to you. It is also up to me to decide whether I agree with the way that you did handle things. I do not. You may of hated every minute of it, but in my opinion you should have sucked it up and offered to refund timmer his money. I don't think you went far enough in trying to offer a proper resolution to the problem. It is a shame that through this whole thing that you have not accepted that this is all people have been trying to get you to realize.
