Here is my short review.....

Opening the box you get a mini catalog - instruction card to work the lock- and a certificate of authenticity (for being a licensed Willumsen design)
Removing the knife from the plastic you notice the edges of the G10- they are pretty sharp and "grippy". All the edges of the knife are beveled which is a nice touch.
The pivot is nice and smooth. I have NO blade play. I can NOT complain about the solid lock up. Mine is about 60% and I doubt it will ever move from there.
The blade is kind of interesting. The belly is shaves easily, but the "nose" is laughable. It will need some work if I keep it!

Overall- This thing is a brute! It is well built and solid. For the (under $20) I paid it is one of the best buys I have made. I would have been happy if I paid full price. With a few minutes of work it will be a great knife. Maybe some bronze pivot washers and a trip to the Edge Pro and it will be a rock solid user.

It does need a flipper though.

Plain edge non-coated version inbound to my location as we speak. Thanks a lot, fletch. Like I really needed one of these...:grumpy::D

Whaaaat?

True story- first thing I thought when I saw it... Those scales remind me of the ones on my Willum... Then I saw what you wrote. Kinda slummin it, but hey whatever, sounds like they mostly got it right which is the most important thing.

The price is super light and I like 440C just fine... I'd be all over it if they did it in ti instead of steel, even If it added a few bucks.

Edit- the $575 knife it reminded me of. :D

Glad I could help. I played with my PE- satin finish all day today. It opens like a rocket ship now! The lock up is awesome on these. They are HUGE!

"Is that a Willumsen in your pocket ......."

Got it today. I can only reiterate what others have said. It's huge, it locks up tight, blade is perfectly centered, and there's no play whatsoever. I like it. The edge wasn't uber sharp (hair scraping), but some time on the KME this evening should fix that.

Build quality wise, this knife reminds me very much of the Boker+ CLB line(which is a good thing). Definitely a good buy.

I haven't sharpened mine yet. The front edge needed it bad. The belly was good and sharp though.

Sounds like a great buy and a cheap way to try out new and interesting designs. I like it.
