Kit, the main reason that I am on this issue like ugly on an ape is that there have been so many people, including Kyle, that have posted that they don't think he has done anything really wrong here, that it is all Dan's fault for being such a difficult customer. Kyle and his buddies seem to think he has handled this in an appropriate manner.

It has also been posted that Kyle has sent Dan his stuff and that maybe it is Dan that is the lier here. That should be easy for Kyle to prove, but we haven't seen anything yet to substantiate this claim. When claims like that are made then I think that Kyle should be able to post a scan of his shipping documents and a proof of confirmation of delivery.

The other guys you posted about are scumbags, but they have not come here acting like they have done nothing wrong, with a group of supporters backing them up in that assertion.
 
Lifter, um that was resolved and paid. As well, it was $400. not thousands. if you knew the specifics on both sides you would knwo better than to talk about something that didn't involve you the least. As well, Liong and I are friends again and we are doing a little work together even. So, his upset was no greater than mine. At that time he and I were great friends and money did get in the way of that. It isn't hypocritical at all as you just do not know what you are talking about. He and I had words and a disagreement but I never withheld payment it was just that payment wasn't due and that was where we came to a disagreement. It was over my first grinder about 4 years back a Grizzly which only cost $200. shipped and used plus some additions. So thousands were never involved. he and I both said many hurtful things in the heat of argument and I was very sorry for that. He said he was too. We walked past eachother at ONE show and the next one I walked up to him and he aeccpted my apology and he apologized as well. Shows how little you know. I have never claimed to be squeaky clean but am far cleaner than those we are calling out here. As well, since it was remedied and done, why bring something you are ignorant of up at all? That is evidence you take sides. as well, your attack on me meeting with dealers at shows last time you chose to jab at me was bull too. Again you are ignorant. that all coming from the guy who tried to his leather goods to me in a friggin bag at a SHOW and he dares say I do the same. You wanna take off the gloves bro, be my guest. I have nothing to hide from anyone. I am a faulty guy but not a rip off artist period! Notice that I was civilized toward you in your lame come back the first time. Dave, it is not worth it to engage. I know you to be as honest as they come and a man of enormous integrity.

If you wanted to sell at a show there is a load of folks would would gleefully share table space with you. I am sure you don't walk around with a bag full of wares.

Wolfmann601, you are right. Dave has a good rep. I know that and it was one reason I liked him enough. For what reason other than some blind obedience to that other place would he attack someone like me (with false info) as he has had no dealings with ame and only shook hands in the past? As well, I would have shared a table with him if he would hae asked because he seemed like an alright guy with a fine rep. :( My opinion has changed.

Corkum and Reif aren't hiding behind anyone, they are right here in the good old USA along with their victims, who do have some chance of recourse to the courts. I wonder if Kyle would be so obdurate if Dan weren't on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter where the deal started, BFC or USN, it has nothing to do with either forum. It has to do with the two parties involved in the deal, and with anyone who feels it effects our community. Constant harping on which forum is responsible only distracts from the problem at hand.

Bringing up anyone else's deals in this thread is also a not-so-subtle way of distracting us from the question at hand.
 
Gentlebeings, no one is going to be distracted. If you have something to say that's not relevant to the transaction between Dr. Dan and Eichenseer, start a new thread.

That was the whole point of my post above, he kept mentioning another forum when this has to do with an individual. I stated quite clearly that I wasnt defending anyone. My memory is crystal clear on past events, if it appeared I was trying to divert attention from the issue, that was not my intent. As Esav said, it has nothing to do with either forum yet it kept coming up, even here on page 19 when it was clear that the issue involves individuals.

Esav, you are correct. By misinforming all here about me (a person who has had a bad deal with Kyle and defends Dan and detracts from all who would abuse Dan for wanting what is his), it subliminally alters a new readers thoughts on the whole situation. Whether he realizes it or not. It is a distraction one that by taking away my credibility might also take away from the whole arguments credibility. I know exactly what is being done here. Bring up another seperate issue of a personal nature and it deflects attention from the real issue and "hopefully" reduces it's credibility. Some people would make good politicians. Oh and a blow job ain't sex either :rolleyes:
 
I hope all parties are done with this. A lot is being said. I hope in the end we can all be friends. This is a small world and we will all see each other again. I consider some of you my friends and lets keep it that way.

My problem with RDT was a few years ago. Over few hundred dollars. Everything is cleared up now.

I was ripped off for $3300 a few years back by an E-bay seller and never got a dime or any satisfaction.

Gonna take up a collection for me? Hopw about the guys in Taiwan who are owed money by a maker, we help them also?

I thought so Keith. It sounds like you aren't very interested in helping Dan out which was supposedly the reason for you posting on this thread in the first place. I stand by what I say. I'll help out Dan while you continue your broken record.

PS-I made no mention of Eich in my last post, Only trying to make it better for Dan, which is supposedly what everyone wants.
 
Really Wolfman? When I was a victim of credit card fraud a few years ago, a friend stepped up and helped me out and helped me with some much needed cash. I didn't get any satisfaction out of the ass/badguy either. I'm not proposing to cure all the world's problems, but there is a specific problem here (Dan being out $200) and if every one is so concerned about Dan as most are trying to say then join me.

PS-I haven't seen anyone put up a better solution to this point as that previous "suggestions" to help Dan have not come to pass. If someone has one then let's here it.
 
Kieth, Wolfmann and Maestro all have points. I think the main point still is that Eich is out there and not destitute and knows well what is happening here. So it's his responsibility to pay up. We can only keep this up for the principal. I don't think Dan is destitute either so he won't die without his cash and goods but again (the principal) the matter is he trusted Kyle with his goods and cash and now is out of them and after much abuse. So, being that Kyle exists in the knife world as we do and knows well what happens here it's up to us to keep the pressure on (if he feels it at all?), and thru his buddies defenses to eventually(fingers crossed) get him to pay what is owed. That would be just. If Dan were suffering from the $200. odd dollar loss then it would be the ultimate gesture for us to take up a collection. Dan, is this hurting you finacially? If yes, then I will match maestro's donation as should others here. If not, then our job as people interested in good trade here in the knfe world would be to keep the pressure on. Either way, we help out.
