USPS tracking says delivered, but not packaged received???

Did you ask for proof of signature? I faced a similiar problem not with USPS but with DTDC, dtdccourierstrack.in. I asked for proof of delivery as signature.

I had the same thing happen, a package was marked via tracking as delivered, if I recall correctly, the tracking site corrected itself and the package came the next day. It was a heartbreaking experience.
