Vampire Gerbil Donation information

When I made a donation yesterday. PayPal showed Dave as (I think) a "verified level 2" user, who had had an account for over a year.

I may be wrong, but I took that to mean that he's used PayPal to get money in the past. Maybe he's sold stuff and accepted PayPal payments from people on this board.

At least the money is out there for him. Sooner or later, the Gerbil will post, or get Alisha to post for him.

Once she goes to PayPal.com, what she needs is his password. He HAS to have a password to access his account. There's no way around that. But, there is a link to ask for a 'forgotten password' which will be verified at the account holder's email. If she has access to that, then she's got all she needs.

Its a horrible thing to have to go threw. Especally when bill companies show no mercy. Would like VG to get better and not be hit with tons of bills. At least this way, he's got the green to stick them with.

So they can go eat poop!



I'm sending today, and I'll send more in a few weeks. Also need to look at some of these auctions, though win or lose I still send money.
 
Probably only Dave or Alishacould tell you what's been received by who.
If you sent a check. when you get your monthly statement you'll know if the check was cashed or not.

I called yesterday and just got the answering machine, I'll try again today.

PhilL, if you happen to get a hold of either Dave or Alisha today and can find out whether or not they were able to retrieve the money from Paypal, I(and I'm sure others here) would greatly appreciate it. Been almost a month sincce I sent them money through there, and want to make sure that they were eventually able to get in and get it.
 
I spoke to Dave before, he's in a lot of pain with his shoulder. His physical therapist seems to be a no show and he really needs the PT to recover.

I asked about the PayPal account and he hasn't been able to get in there. So whatever money was sent there is probably still there untouched. He's hoping that if Alisha can call in and give them his password they will release the funds. I sure don't know enough to help him.

Another week or too...I should be able to send a bit more. Assuming my check doesn't bounce. No phone, internet and alarm system at work is a bad sign..
 
Any word on Dave accessing his paypal account?

I have funds on the way to him from the knife I auctioned off last week, and would like to make sure he receives them.
