I've never met your father, but his posts usually make me laugh, and from reading what others have said about him I know he is a wonderful person. He cheered me up in a thread a couple months back, when my grandmother passed, and he didn't know me from Adam. I will say a prayer for him, and your family. Sorry to hear that you have been through so much, so fast.

Any further updates? We need more evil undead rodents on these pages! Rise up so you can smite your enemies with your wit and deadly microtool of doom! This place isn't the same without you. Its distressingly sane and normal. Please get well soon. Tell you what, get yourself out of that hospital and we'll all chip in and buy you something really sharp, pointy, and evil. Or a cupcake with a candle in it. You know how it is. Budget cutbacks...

I have been waiting for Alisha to post but she must be busy. I spoke to Dave on the phone friday. He was sitting up in bed and had just finished his breakfast. He is recovering and off of life support. He remebered seeing me on my previous visit to the hospital. I let him know about how much support you all are giving him. The plan was to move him to step-down care later in the day and from what I gathered his rehab will be starting soon. Keep the good thoughts folks.

It's great news that his recovering, god knows his been through enough in recent times and I hope he makes a full recovery...Keep on fightin'!!!

Thank You Alisha!.. You must be drained from this awful ordeal as well. It appears you are a chip off the old block! Stay Strong & Keep Yourself Well! Please continue to keep us all updated and have you're Dad post just as soon as he feels up to it. We are all pulling for him here and you are so kind to take time to update us on his condition...

Our family will continue to pray for you'res. Never underestimate the Power of Prayer!!..
 
I just got off the phone with a friend with an update on Dave. He walked up and down a hall today. Not sure the distance but any distance is good. It sounds like Dave will be moved out of the hospital to a rehab facility today.

I called today to find out if he was still a patient there and he's outta there! :D
But they had no idea where he went to... :grumpy:
