Vampire Gerbil updates.

Good news!!! Dave is in Rehab. New news had been posted in the Thread at the blade discussion forum. News from Alisha (now there is a Saint) and a new address and phone number for Dave.
 
I called the Rehab clinic and out out that VG has been released. I have not been able to get him at home but it is GREAT news to know that he is well enough to be home.
 
Geeeezzz I am sorry to have been gone so long, I am glad VG is doing better, but as I didnt know what happened in the first place I will do a search and find other threads on this topic!!!! Get well fast VG!

OMG I just read the two pertainent threads, my heart goes out to the entire family. I will say a prayer for you all. wow... just wow. :(
 
Happy to hear that he's feeling better. I was away from the forums for a while and when I came back I read of his wife's demise and then of his illness... I'm not the religious type, by I'll pray for him just in case there's somebody listening up there that may intercede for him if not for me. ;)

Okay, now we have to take some of the weight off his shoulders . It's time to ante up. Please don't let him come all this way back to be crushed by the expenses. Prayers and all of the good wishes had to help, but now is time to kick in with cash.

Nathan, I think you should make the check out to Dave.

To be honest with you, I sent two checks one to each of them.
Alisha has been through so much and been so strong through it all I thought she deserved to get herself a little something.
 
Hey vg, i pray you are feeling better, and recuperating well. Rehab can be tough i know first hand, i suffered a massive stroke in january and the road back has been tough.thank god my wife was home, otherwise i would not be here lord i love that woman, My left side is still paralized but i am learning to walk again and trying to get my arm moving again,not much is happening with it but i am not giving up. Iused to be signed in under fwh3 but i could not remember my info so i had to signup again. I am rooting for you get better soon

Bills are paid for January so Dave can have the Christmass knife money.
 
Happy Holidays to everyone. I just talked to our beloved Gerbil and he is a LOT better. His warped sense of humor is returning (he wanted the reindeer sausage with the glowing red bits for breakfast). He has some PC problems and isn't able to get online so I thought I would post and pass along his appreciation for all the good thoughts and his wishes for a Happy Holidays for all.
 
Thanks for the update on VG. Don't know where to get him the sausage with the glowing nose bits, though. I look forward to seeing him active here again soon.

Just talked to Dave and he told me that he is still unable to get on line. He asked me to post and pass on his appreciation for everything that everyone is doing for him. He is better and can get around a little but is still hurting and needs help to do most things. Thank God for his daughter Alisha. She is truly a gem. It is great to know that our community can band together to help one of our own. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
 
Alisha, is it possible for him to dictate something for you to post here?
