and Mr. Reeve charges $350 for a knife that cost $80 to manufacture. your point?

You first.
You are the one publicly lambasting a company for something that should be between you and them. What do you expect us to do for you? Cheer you on in your gallant fight against evil knife companies?

LOL I work with machines that do similar functions with tolerances, (motherboard engineering, computer core designing)
Those are not 80 dollar knives; but nice try.
wow, look through the post in the thread
Isnt a public forum used to discuss these types of issues with a knife company and discuss ways for them to futher expand in the fields they are lacking in? This was not meant to publically slander crk, it was a thread to discuss warranty problems many shared.
He seems to have a legitimate gripe, and after sending it in and the issue wasn't resolved, a good reason to voice his frustration (also with 2 unanswered emails since). Sounds like he's tried to make it between him and Chris without much luck. No ones asking you to cheer or not, but if you don't like it you can see your way out of the thread.

As could you, and as could wolf. It isnt your thread, or his.
Well Ive sent 2 emails with no reply, and its been a few days now. Hopefully you can get some answers or maybe convince Mr. Reeve to chime in on this thread.
Why not just call them and talk to someone.
I've emailed them about two things, one email was answered that night. One was never answered, I called and had an answer in minutes. It is so much easier than exchanging email's, that process could last for weeks.
Unfortunately probably too late now if they are only working four days a week (I assume M-Th). Just call them on Monday first thing and get an answer.
I don't understand why people are so quick to defend CRK. Lets forget all we know about knives and remember we are talking about a $400 or more pocket knife. Let that sink in for a minute. That is groceries for a month for some families. Or a car payment. When people are paying that much money, at a time when money is hard to come by. CRK should fix the knife. Don't try to argue this point cuz its true.
They are making more than you think, but Money has nothing to do with it. If you have such high standards stand behind your product and have a no questions asked warranty. Thats what people are paying the brunt of the money for (the warranty and the tolerances). If a sebenza doesnt have that then its just like every other knife.
They do stand behind their product as long as there has been no abuse. Flipping is abuse according to CRK...when purchasing a used sebenza...buyer beware!
