Well, for some reason I thought I had until the 17th. I just finished today. Am I too late?

The model is my Karda. The steel is 3/32" thick 3D Spalted 01. Scandi grind. Natural canvas micarta scales with nat can liners, pins bullseye fillers, and an orange pinstrype. Dylan made the kydex neck sheath. Again orange.

Why? Did you do another perfecly fit plastidip handle?

and all this time I thought he had to airbrush it on. they make clear splatidip?

Yep. And it goes on with no gaps. A perfect fit every time. Woot. Eh?

sorry guys I tried to send my knife and post office was closed, didn't realize it was Columbus day..... wouldn't have made it in time.. I seriously thought I'd have no problem getting this out, but I've had literally very little time even breathe... Great to see all the knives completed...

That's a beauty Andy, great job as always !

Damn Andy, that's pretty. I would have loved to beat on it like the others. Glad we brought a tub of Gorilla Glue along.

Don't worry, it all stayed together fine Brian.

There were four of us who rated the knives. Once I get all the results into Excel I'll post the "winner(s)". The plan is to remain fairly anonymous as to rankings given by each tester. We all have preferences, and use/carry knives differently, so there was some disagreement...particularly in the area of ergonomics. A great bunch of knives, and no matter who ends up on top or who ends up on bottom, everyone should be proud of what they produced.

That's why i love multiple testers so much. Even though i have a peculiarly "EDC" attitude towards neckers, I know for sure that what i do isn't going to be to everyone's taste!

The rest is easy- it's fit and finished decently or it isn't. It cuts or it don't (okay, different grinds take different habits and attitudes) - but the ergos get really personal.

I agree with both of you. It would have to be hard to pick a winner. I really prefer an (edc) type necker with a full handle also.

I'll try to get it done today but the in-laws are coming for a visit so my priorities may not be my own. Within the next few days for sure.

Totally! I am, as usual, nervous and excited. And looking forward to KGD massaging the data.

Haha I feel the same way Christof! Can you at least tell us if any broke in half?

And... Where are you going to post the results, I am trying to follow 3 threads right now:confused:
