I left the string long enough so it can be adjusted to be carried under the arm.

because I am the embodiment of grandpa Coyote, I'm making 12 neckers. I'll just have to figure out which one goes.

I became the happy owner of the burgundy handled necker today, and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with it. It's fantastic. The handle is just absolutely incredible. May look simple, but it is just unbelievably comfortable. I can't stop holding it. The grind is really well done...the tip is even on both sides, and the blade is the sharpest I have ever owned. And to top it all off, the sheath reeks of quality and is as sturdy as anything leather I've seen.

Lots of thanks to Koyote for a great knife at a really reasonable price.

That one just ended up a bit too long for the challenge, but should be a great edc!

Adam, I really like the whole setup. I personally prefer upright carry, myself. Really nicely done knife.

Thanks guys!

I have always preferred the upright carry as well, for how secure it holds the knife; even if it is a little pesky to get your knife out.

Christof- I look forward to seeing your knife; You always send in a beauty.

Beautiful knives guys! Its really fun to see so many styles for one competition. The reviewers are going to get some great knives to play with.

Got my knife finished yesterday, here are a few pictures.

Ok... well I'm getting there. Here is what I have going so far.

I cut two blanks in case I screw one up (I'm still a new hand at this). One is 15N20, the other 1095. I'm planning on using the 15N20 barring any foul ups. I have had a death in the family this week so my time to work on these has been extremely short. If I don't get it done in time I do have a back up that I was working on a while back that is nearly complete. It was never meant to be seen by anyone... so it 'aint pretty, but it will do if need be.

So there you have it. I wanted to post something mostly to prove to myself I am getting something done. :)

Sheath turned out killer GH! You have a very unique style my friend.

I will post some photos of mine tomorrow as soon as the sheath is finished up. I will also me mailing it tomorrow.

I'm liking the look of this one, quite unusual, can't wait to see it all finished up!
