Still waiting for mine to get back from HT (within next 3 days). Cutting it close but hopefully everything works out....

I agree Mike. Been out of town for five days and just got home to two more, for a total of three. Except for the fact that they're neck knives, and very nicely made, they're all quite different.

Indeed. They are all good designs. It is going to come down to sharpness, edge retention and individual taste, me thinks.

Bush Monkey Knives, Javelina: OAL 6", 2 1/2 x 1 1/8 x 1/8" 58-60RC 01 tool steel blade, corby bolt up front and flared tube in the back, bead blast OD & black scales. Kydex sheath with adjustable paracord to be worn centered on chest or on strong side with paracord across chest.

Thanks for looking

Sweet!!

I like my neck knives as low profile as possible, the knife is 1/8" Aldo's 1095 with a cotton wrapped epoxy coated handle with brown kydex sheath. I can carry this knife under a t-shirt with a very low printing of the knife. At this late hour I'm missing something so feel free to ask.

I will mail my knife in tomorrow (the 5th)

okay you guys floor me, there are so many great knives I'm almost embarrassed to show this... its a beater for sure.. :)

I've had no time to extend greater efforts into this and I apologize up front, here is the very first knife I've ever made.. I messed it up pretty good in several areas, I entered with zero intention of winning, placing or even showing :), but this is just what I needed to put a flame on me to finish up a knife !!

I've been working 7 days a week lately so if I find a little time within the next couple days, I'd like to make a more presentable knife, either way I'll be shipping at the end of the week..

You did really well on that knife for a first! It takes a lot of the right stuff to do this and come through. Keep showing up at the grinder and they'll only get better.

Battle Creek,

Your knife is clean and looks very functional - I like the narrow profile. Nice job.

I agree, Nice looking knife, first or not .
I also didn't read anything about winning anything, I'm involved for the fun (^;
And "Judges", PLEASE don't Baton my knife !!! (:

Don't worry, I've been watching videos of Bear Grylls batoning with a rock. Although I haven't tried it, I've watched enough video to be extremely competent with this technique. :eek:

Bear who ? :D
Thanks Jason, I feel better now that your going to use a rock instead of a useless and ineffective piece of wood :p
