Walking Dead : Daryl's Season 5 knife (Sort of) Identified.

Yes, in this case a gerber might actually be better. I wonder why they only stopped at 19 holes drilled into the blade there is definitely room for more.

I think AMC or the walking dead's legal team didn't want Jerry to cash in with the use of his brand with the ever growing popularity of the show. Nevertheless, that's Blasphemy!!

That thing is disgusting... ehh, they shouldn't have given him a fancy TGLB either.

Buck 119, Kabar or similar would do nice. Simple and classic.

19 holes swung through the air create a sound that disorients walkers sensitive hearing?

The knife however is not my cup of TeaGLB

(Trailerhouse Gemini Light Brigade)

Trailerhouse Gutter Light Beer?

That Gerber's a Little Better...

That's Genuine? LOL Blasphemy!
No really,
That's (a) Great Little Blade
It is!
This'll Grate (cheese) Like Butter
and
The Grindwork Leaves (me) Breathless!
but, unfortunately
This Gouger Lacks Balance
I'm going to trade it for
The Gerber Legendary Blades
Why don't you just
Try Getting (your) Loot Back?
and
Then Get (a) Legit Busse

:D

My eyes are bleeding. x_x
Well, I thought the show got so tired long time ago anyway..

THAT is just one hell ugly blade. Nothing on it looks functional ....... and I am sure a few patent rights breached.

Hope they get kicked into touch!

The site says "In December of 2013, the Woodbury Shoppe commissioned master knife maker Rodney Shelton of Shelton Knives to create a one of a kind knife"

My question is who is this Shelton guy?

"If you aint movin forward, you're dead"

...that just so happens to be a hole filled turd that's shaped EXACTLY like the Busse Combat TGLB? (Right down to the talon holes? Which I thought were trademarked?)

Now that I know the sword Michonne uses is a Chinese POS, I haz a sad. :(

However, I hope I'm not the only one who was all "HELL YEAH!" when she decided not to put it back on the wall.

I love the show and definitely love the roll that the blades/edged weapons play. It doesn't really bother me that they don't use the best knives... There's plenty of other suspension of belief going on to be concerned about what brand/model knife is getting plunged into a walker's skull.

excuse me...but that's a $300 turd you're talking about. well, maybe a $100 turd and $200 worth of advertising.

and I'm a fan of the show.

Suspension of disbelief, such as the apocalypse starting in 2010 and them driving a 2013 Hyundai? Haha

I think it's more like a $50 turd with $100 worth of advertising, and $150 of "redneck cachet"... (Mary Beth, whip out the credit card! I dun seen a new naf on the tee vee I wanna bah!)
I'm a fan of the show too! :)

Is it just me, or does it look like there is no tang to the knife, and it is just screwed on to the top of the handle.

Paging Mr Rambo, your knife is ready.

The Talon Hole trademark is on the finger guard area ranging upwards (the paperwork has a shaded area larger than a single hole) from the edge side as opposed to the spine side. The spine side guard hole is outside of Jerry's trademark range. Yes, it is a flagrant violation of Busse Combat's trademark, and last I heard Jerry is on it. Could be a bad day coming for The Woodbury Shoppe and southern grind if they don't agree to Jerry's terms, whatever they may be...
