it has come to my attention via USN that mr wang buys high end knives from north america only to have them sent to china and have counterfeits made in batches or hundreds or thousands, please, out of respect for our hardworking knifemakers take heed and DO NOT deal with him!

if you look, most of his posts are asking how to get a hold of specific makers regarding specific models. what he is doing is a shameful practice that needs to be brought to everyones attention

We do have a member named wangyimeng who's been here since December 2005, and seems to have been buying high-end knives. That's all I know about him. How about some evidence?

here ya go.

When does this get to the member named wangyimeng here at BF?

A former Gold member, that doesn't appear to have a trace of bad dealings here BTW.

While I don't know anything about Striders, I'm assuming that picture is of Strider knockoffs. How does this connect to wangyimeng?

Glad to see that members are not making assumptions based on his name (chinese name) and requiring proper evidence. I personally detest copying and/or counterfeiting but my point is that claims/allegations must be backed with evidence.

FYI, I'm chinese and I buy high end knives from EBay and in Bladeforum and I too can be accused with such allegations. Just a picture does not link wangyimeng with copying or counterfeiting, his name (real or forum name) is not there!

(Past purchases of knives not shown in my feedback cause feedback's fairly new here and I'm not desperate to fish for feedbacks from my previous sellers)

PS: Wow many posts while I'm typing this. Just read about the website and I'll be visiting it. Use a translating page (example Babelfish) in case you can't read chinese (like me, an overseas chinese :)).

If you don't read chinese, no problem at all, just take a look at the fake knives on this website (wangyimeng's):

http://www.10203.com/

you can find fake Strider, fake DDR knife, fake Mad Dog, fake Benchmade, fake Smith & Wesson....fake everything

Interesting. I have no clue what it says, but interesting nonetheless. Cotherion, do you read Chinese? If so, is there any evidence this site is related to the accused?

Nope, english educated but http://babelfish.altavista.com/ translates webpages for me. If what is said is true then this is mega bad...

How to know that the webpage is linked to wangyimeng? I see many many (too many) knives there and are you sure wangyimeng purchased them? I mean even most of the knives I bought also appear in the webpage.

Basically how to link wanyimeng to the webpage? Not defending him cause if it's true then this is just despicable!
