watch out for wangyimeng

I would like to thank all of my friends for their concern.
Thank you, Keith gave me my e-mail notification on this subject. Busy since yesterday did not respond promptly please forgive!
I think I have some things that need to clear.
WWW.10203.COM First of all I am not the master of my friends HUANGHUI 10,203 is the master, we are friends, I have always purchased his knife, so we understand, I Cangdao to many, if I do not like or knife Wangou, wanted to sell, I will let HUANGHUI help me sell him, and also some profit, I do not sell fake products, I am not interested in fakes, but as far as my friend HUANGHUI sell imitation okay with me, I interference others can choose their own right to live, if your friends went to a crime, you can only tell him it was wrong, as he is listening to you, that's his thing.
Like many famous knife makers have contact: Walter Brend, Roger Bergh, AndrE Andersson.JERRY FISK.Jay Hendrickson, Brian Tighe,
, Michael Andersson, you can asked them about my credibility, my website to help the United States in many Chinese friends to buy knives, USN is the place I often go to, where I often buy knives, can also go there to ask my credibility.
I repeat once again: I do not sell counterfeit products, I am not interested in imitation knife, the other in the sale, then I am not related to the matter, I can not interfere in the lives of others. Government not approach things, I have a small citizens to control?
Thank you for your concern! Thank you!

Don't think anyone from the USN will be vouching for his credibility - he was banned from there.

From what I could get out of his post is that he's the buyer for his friend who sells fakes. But he doesn't care since he doesn't buy them.

I have been following thread and also exchanged two emails with him, he does admit to buying, then allowing friend to sell for some profit his knives, he does not want imitation knives, but it is ok for friend to earn living by selling fakes designed & copied from his?? He really does know what the fuss is about, since he does not do it (copy or sell fakes himself) is he to police world, that is how his friend is able to earn living.

Babel Fish at best is bad, but you can use it, Chinese Simp to English to send to him, then English to Chinese Simp on answers.

As for me and my knives they are not going to China, just my .02

So far we seem to have established that wangyimeng knows someone who has a website where he sells knives, including some knockoffs, and wangyimeng uses that website to host photos and sell knives.

Maybe there's more to it than that, but so far wangyimeng doesn't seem to have done anything worse than those of us who sell knives on ebay. There are plenty of knockoffs for sale on ebay, too....

Doug, thank you for whatever your thread may have said - I can't go back and read the edit ;)

As for my own posts, I have published an addendum to it, based on Wang's behavior has been with Mad Dog dealers, all of whom are acquaintances and many of whom are friends.

Cougar, thank you for playing the continued voice of reason here.

There are indeed fakes on ebay but ebay itself does not endorse it. However, wangyimeng is selling knives to his friend who is knowingly selling fakes on his website. In this manner, wangyimeng is not only condoning stealing profits from the pockets of knifemakers but he is himself an enabler if the knives which he sells to his friend are used to make copies.

Ah, guilt by association! That's always fun. Everyone who sells a knife to someone who sells knockoffs is guilty! Everyone who sells a knife to someone who sells knives to someone who sells knockoffs is guilty! Everyone who sells a knife to someone who sells a knife to someone who sells a knife ... wait ... I lost track ... gotta start over....

I have been approached by wangyimeng to buy one of my knives for sale... After searching his name, I found this thread which I had totally forgotten about reading let alone posting to. Has anyone found out anything concrete towards or against the allegations posted here concerning this member and him enabling or buying for others in China to produce counterfeit knives?

Same here. He's contacted me about a CG FBM. Anything new emerged?

Seems he's buying knives again.

From a quick post search....it appears that's primarily why he is here. To buy knives....perhaps to re-sell them at a profit? Perhaps. Not against capitalism but I don't understand why folks come here to merely purchase and not participate. It's frowned on other forums and I imagine it is at BF also....I know I don't approve or understand the need to join merely to purchase and perhaps profit. I've been contacted by the likes before asking to purchase knives that are in the pictures of the knife that I'm actually selling....and to be lowballed on the posted price. They seem to be folks who when I do a post search live mostly in the Exchange. The only time I've ever refused to sell to anyone is when it involves shipping overseas and that's only been a couple of times, but there are times when I am tempted to say no when the member isn't a paying member and they have a post count of under a hundred, most of which is in the Exchange.

That's my rant and I'll jump off my soap box now....this isn't something I'm known to do here on the forums. It's just that I'm seeing more and more of it during these troubling times and IMO some folks are taking advantage of it and not participating in the main reason I'm here......To discuss, enjoy, and participate in a mutal shared passion. Knives.

Yimeng Wang (wangyimeng) is a good guy. He's honest and is wealthy and is NOT a troublemaker. He just happens to like knives and has limited English skills, so his minimal appearance here is not unlikely. He participates on a Chinese Knife forum often. He has sent me links and even joined me up. I haven't figured it out yet.

I don't have an accounting of the hows and whys of his transactions, but his dealings are completely on the up and up with me. I have mailed him multiple expensive knives ordered from Jay Hendrickson, MS. He LOVES top quality.

That's what I know.

I just finished a deal with Ymeng Wang. I sold him one of my customs I had for sale. It was one of the smoothest transactions I had ever had. Cordial correspondence and prompt payment, what more can a man want.
