I've been poking around the website a little, using machine translation ... I still haven't found any connection to wangyimeng ...
 
The pics of the Mad Dogs as shown at the site appear to be genuine, from the keyboard of the maker himself.

He makes as you can read no claim as to whether or not the illustrious Wang is in fact making knock-offs.

The gent in question IS a complete PITA apparently and I would not deal with him just for this reason, given the overall high caliber gents who are MD dealers and their refusal to deal with him.

Well, to me it looks that wangyimeng has indeed got some association's with 10203.com.

You can see that in these two threads:

Joe Keesler, ABS M.S.
Heather Haruey MS

Of course, this is only proof if those two knives were unique(so he didn't use the 10203.com site as an example, and if he didn't bought his knives from 10203.com before selling it on this forum.
As I can't read Chinese,I don't know what the 10203.com pages of the knives are saying.
So maybe someone else can comment further about it.
Or the people that bought knives from him.

As I read his post-history, his English is maybe not good enough to be able to defend himself properly when asked.

I'm also not sure if this site is selling fakes or not. Many knives on his site don't look like regular production models to me, but maybe they are special editions. Someone with more experience should probably be able to determine that.

Well, it's apparent that he has some sort of link to the site. And before xzhang took his ball and went home, he posted a picture from the site showing what appeared to be Striders with "Kevin John" on the tang stamp. I assume this means they're fake. So there does seem to be evidence now that he may be doing bad deeds. hmmmm.
 
I emailed wangyimeng about this thread. He visited the forum today, but has not come here to comment. Hopefully he will decide to give us his side of the story.

Just kidding of course,that was a little joke to show that sometimes things get lost in translation.
It sounds like Wang is trying to make the point that he's not involved in this fraud and I tend to believe him,as long as I've been aware of him,he's been ok.
A few highly respected forumites have vouched for him early on,and during his membership here.

What I can gather from your first post is that you are friends with the owner of the site, but have nothing to do with the site itself. I can't make any sense out of the second post. I assume you're using machine translation.

The guy who originally posted this stuff was from USN. He stated that there was evidence linking you to the site, and that you were buying knives to make copies. He never posted any of that evidence. As of now, I don't see that you've done anything wrong.
