Have you heard of a top? The childs toy that was very popular before technology? Yes that is right $60-$300 pieces of machined metal designed to spin, fall over and the owner picks it up and does it again or they realize they could have had a knife instead and drink themselves to sleep.
nice knife. too expensive though
Hi Gary,
I heard some rumors that the coating is PVD which stands for (physical vapor deposition). But I never liked blacked blades. In the end they will scratch all. In this respect I prefer the black stonewash blades from ZT.
Anyhow, enclosed you find a link regarding a review from a WE knife in which the black coating is also discussed:

And others ask why spend that on a knife when you could have had a gun. Everyone has the desires. No need to be a douche about what is and isn't yours.
Agree Mo2, right now this one is just over $100 and has a lot going for it, here is the promised obligatory photo

Never owned a PM2, but Spyderco's are also excellent knives, the compression lock may prove to be stronger, if that is a priority, but I'm afraid it's all down to what you need your knife to do.
I've used this some today, working on a bunch of cardboard so nothing heavy, but I liked how it handled.
