BK2 Folder great idea I have a few spare ones think ill cut one up and make my own.why wait.
Personaly I think if ethan made a MACHAX folder you guys would by it. (no im not about to make one of those)

I would buy one but first i have to buy my bk7!!!! I already have a bk9 but I want a bk7 but after that this would be number 1 on my list

Yesterday was Funday (I got to go to a barbecue), and that means that today is Bumpday. Bumpday is, of course, followed by Monday (some weeks have four or five of these) then comes Funday, followed by Bumpday again: I sense a pattern here.

Oh, and I really want one, too... along with a lot of other people (I get emails asking about it). I was hoping that Mr. Becker would have said something by now, but I know he's busy getting ready for the Blade show. Maybe after: who knows?

On behalf of The Machax Men of (North) America, I am enquiring as to the status of the new Becker/Kabar/Dawson folder. My credentials:

Please note, as this is a Cincinnati (sp?) Machax as compared to a Camillus, I claim 'elder status' and hopefully, this will add an extra layer of legitimacy to my query.

The production and subsequent release of the Becker/KaBar/Dawson folder will be of such momentous occasion as to cause cheering in the streets, a mass inodus (opposite of an exodus??? :confused:) of Bark River, Spyderco, Sebenza and Busse people, hoping to share in the excitement, and great "RAT rapture" among the faithful.

So I guess the question is:

WHAT'S THE HOLD UP?

Hi, Doc, glad you checked in.

First of all, how's the eye?

Second, the status of the folder is... in limbo. No word, so far.

This is understandable, of course, since I first showed it at a time that Ethan was on vacation, and KA-BAR was ramping up for the upcoming Blade show.

There will be all kinds of great goodies introduced at the Blade show, and they pretty much overshadow the proposed folder at the moment.

I'm hoping that sometime after the post-Blade excitement wears off, then Ethan, Toooj, or both will weigh in with their thoughts. If I haven't heard anything by Blade show 2011 (a year from now), I'll just have to assume a lack of interest.

It could also be that a Becker folder will be introduced, or at least shown, at Blade. There was talk of it before I showed mine. We have less than a week to wait till Blade to see what comes out.

In other words, Doc, I don't know. I do know that a lot of people want this thing, but your guess as to its status is as good as mine at this point.

Hey db, so far, so good, thanks for asking. Vision is a bit off, but that's due to blood in the eye - retinal surgeon says it takes a few months to clear up.

So, bottom line, good to go. :thumbup:

Welcome to the forum, Longgunner.

There are a lot of us hoping for that one. We'll have to see after the Blade show is over.
