With a large bolster knife, an expanse of Smooth Bone makes for a sleek. appearance Even more so when the bolster is intricate and the slabs bevelled.

If I could change my vote I would, by adding 50 more for Smooth :D Ballot stuffing has a lot of precedents..and remember, it's Charlie who COUNTS the votes🤣

Lucky for us, this poll is completely democratic, and hasn't been hacked or stuffed
(that I know of!)!! But there is still time to change a few minds!! "Na Zdorovie"!!!😲:p

You can change your vote. There is a change vote button to the right just under the results.

If this thing turns out with smooth bone covers I will use my trusty Dremel and saw cut them myself.

I will also sulk, eat a lot of cheap ice cream (the kind that comes in the square cardboard box), and otherwise debase myself in a woeful well of deep depression.

After my dissociative fugue, I will also likely be offering this saw cut Dremel treatment for 2021 forum knives to all members in good standing for a very fair price, but sadly no warranty or guarantee

I stole this photo from Rose and Thistle Custom, sorry about that, but here is an excellent photo of a nice purple dyed bone from GEC. Much better than a plain Jane brown handle. 🤩View attachment 1576867
You're welcome to steal any pics you want. That smooth purple has been immensely popular.
But in this crowd I suspect more people would rather NOT purple than would be happy with it.
I'm hoping for white, but blue, green, orange, elderberry would all be great. I'd be disappointed with brown or antique yellow but plan to love this knife whatever it ends up being. If there's any flexibility on blade shape I'd be crazy over a spear.

I am OK with any colour as long as it's vibrant and not wahed out. If it's going to be sawcut then it should be something that looks good in that form.
