camel bone would be an acceptable smoothy, but I think it is expensive and labor intensive to polish, so probably out due to cost.

I think a nice compromise of rough sawcut emerald green bone would be a crowd pleaser and likely the most beautiful forum knife ever.

each knife would look like that emerald from Romancing the Stone.

Scene is knife related so totally relevant:

Really? I say we go for "bile yellow" and give it a sassy blade etch, like... "The Ol' Call-edge Tri".

I'm 90% certain that Charlie wasn't alive during the production of "old" barlows, but you'd never know it to hear him talk. 👍
Lol, thanks for the daily laughs.

If I recall correctly, and I may not, when the 14's were coming together, Charlie held a drawing to come up with the name of that funky edge effect. The winner got a free TC, and I thought they came up with a name, I don't know. Might be making this all up. It was probably around 1900 or so, so it's difficult to remember 😁

Either way, if sawcut is the winner, hopefully no red or cranberry. Seems like GEC has a fondness for red knives with pink edges. My preferred GEC red is hemlock green (it's red, GEC calls in green). The black plum cherry was pretty solid color throughout, no pink. Still voting for the smooth with edge bevel.. unless sawcut with wane is an option.

I voted sawcut. I think a red cranberry like the TC sheepsfoot 15 from a couple years back would look really cool.
