camel bone would be an acceptable smoothy, but I think it is expensive and labor intensive to polish, so probably out due to cost.

I think a nice compromise of rough sawcut emerald green bone would be a crowd pleaser and likely the most beautiful forum knife ever.

If I recall correctly, and I may not, when the 14's were coming together, Charlie held a drawing to come up with the name of that funky edge effect. The winner got a free TC, and I thought they came up with a name, I don't know. Might be making this all up. It was probably around 1900 or so, so it's difficult to remember

Either way, if sawcut is the winner, hopefully no red or cranberry. Seems like GEC has a fondness for red knives with pink edges. My preferred GEC red is hemlock green (it's red, GEC calls in green). The black plum cherry was pretty solid color throughout, no pink. Still voting for the smooth with edge bevel.. unless sawcut with wane is an option.

Of course, in the even of a tie-not unlikely- a compromise would be to have Ivory Sawn Bone! Something that's never been done as far as I know but could actually look very effective.
