Good job! Thats cool thanks for sharing! Show us some more of your work.

This is the largest area I've tooled as of yet. This entire build was a huge learning experience, really enjoyable.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Very kind words coming from very good people. This was one I wouldn't have minded keeping!

I put off tooling for years because I wanted to avoid the rabbit hole and knew I'd get hooked. Needless to say... I'm hooked. Time consuming but extremely enjoyable.

Well my leather isn't dried good enough. I went ahead and put the PCB back in a Hoverboard I'm working on. I ordered some XT-60 connectors that should be here tomorrow so I can build a XT-60 to USB-A cable to pull a current load on the 3-pin charger. But I believe it just needs a new battery pack.
I want to paint my Bald Eagle snatching a fish out of water onto my new Wickett & Craig leather. But it hasn't came in yet.

that's some quality workmanship, right there

I got this sheath finished tonight, (this morning, actually) and it was kind of a gongshow. I just went at it with almost no planning and made all the important decisions when the time came to make them, like what type of loop to install for the belt for instance. Seriously had no forethought into any of it. As a result, SOOO many mistakes. Which was great, that's what this was all about, just making a sheath for my own knife and figuring out how to do some things- and more importantly fix mistakes when I do things wrong. I HATE MISTAKESbut I also love them. The result is definitely not primetime, but it's kind of lovable and holds a pretty sweet knife.

So I jump in on Monday with a group of orders and dang if I don't lose Tuesday. We had an all day power outage as they replaced all the nearby power poles with fire resistant ones. So hit it again Wednesday and finished up yesterday, Thursday.
