Thanks, don't have an arbor press, but something as handy, a large C-clamp to apply a nice even force, with a block of aluminum beneath the leather as an anvil.

When you press the chrome tanned leather are you dampening it first? It's been a while making wet formed sheaths, been making those slip sheaths so this was a nice way to get back into the groove of using the heavier leather.
And just finished up my sheath for my Rough Ryder Reserve Clasp folder RRR014, very handsome folder and ground down thin to cut well, but a tad wide for in my pocket carry so a belt sheath was in order, dark brown dyed leather and my fav embossing.

Great idea.I sometimes use my wood chisels to skive leather. My chisels are very sharp.
Very very niceI tried something new this weekend. If I ain’t trying something new…I’m just standing still.

Very very niceI like your use of the different color stitching. The inlay work looks very nice as well.
And they're amazing qualityFinished these up , they are shipped and delivered. They went out toAriesTheCam here on BF. Built for the Busse Jack Hammer 10 knife. They are 10-12oz English bridle leather with taupe (?) color thread. Owner has already posted pics in another thread. So i took the liberty of posting a couple here.

Yeah it’s a big knife lol, 10” blade length !!Indeed ! those are really well doneduramax !!!
But, if I was to get one, being not such a tall fellow, I'd have to somehow install a small wheel on the bottom of the sheath
Thems big knives no doubt!

Thank youThat is quite a package my friend and all very nicely executed. Must be a big guy to want to carry that much around. That is almost a short sword.
Randy
Thank youmuch appreciated !!
The larger knife was a beast and yes basically a short sword. This was my first time building a piggy back sheath like this.
He wanted both sheaths to be useable individually. Also a request was that breakdown of the two be quick and easy. So I used that hinged clip , kinda like a tec lock and elastic cord with leather and snap.
