No doubt. Didn't realized we offered that small basket stamp on that martingale. That was removed as an option as soon as this order came in!Dave,
I have to question your sanity after tooling that much basket weave on long, curved straps. I would be holding a nice whisky bottle tight and hoping it never happened again.

Ya bet!!! Good deal! Tell Ains and Roy good job!!!!!The kids have been wanting to make some things for sale for a while. We came across the National Parks Field Notes books and ordered their set of 18 memo books.
They came up with a plan to make notebook covers for all 18 of them. Go big or go home I guess. They even have a plan for the profit, half back to supplies and half in savings. They did all of the tooling and the majority of the work, I stitched them on the Cobra 4. At 7 and 9 years old I was pretty proud of them for following through and finishing them all, they did a really great job. We'll be selling them in our Newsletter this week, wish them luck!
A big thanks to Dave for letting me pick his brain and giving us some good project advice, Thanks Dave, I really appreciate it.

Definitely proud of them, I tried to stand back as much as I could and let them make all the decisions on what steps to take. They did a great job organizing everything.Your kids did amazing work! You must be a very proud papa.

Will do Dave, they'll be glad to hear it!Ya bet!!! Good deal! Tell Ains and Roy good job!!!!!
Thanks, I agree! I'll let them know you said that.Very very nice !! They did excellent work![]()
Thanks. I'm sure they're there if you look in the right light. I've got the pressure foot threaded almost all the way out on top of my Cobra 4, not sure if that's a good practice but it seems to keep that foot from digging in. Though I could probably improve my stitch lines if I tightened it down, need to experiment with that.Redmeadow Knives I'm always impressed how you cant see the foot marks next to your machined stitching.
Great lil vid too! Excellent. Gotta tell Roy it went from felt to Stormy Krommer's around here! Will do Dave, they'll be glad to hear it!
Thanks, I agree! I'll let them know you said that.
Very nice!Had to put a thicker belt loop on this frog, since the knife turned out a bit handle-heavy:
That is a great batch of knives time. The Sonoran Hunter, and the Ranchero, and the ram horn Mestano were my favorites, but they are all really nice looking. It’s always interesting to me to see which ones go first on there. It doesn’t seem like there’s too much rhyme or reason to it. Beautiful, highly functional work as always. Very nice!
Few more recents around here:
Finished up this holster: For a Smith Shield in .45:

And a matching Pancake sheath for a Benchmade for the same customer:

Interestingly the only other outside knife to make a sheath for in this batch was another Benchmade and dang if not the same knife just different handle treatment. Also while both were for SOB carry this one was to point the other way., also basket stamped.
