A couple of our boot sheaths. These two were upgraded by customer request to use the Ulticlip:

Dave,
I have to question your sanity after tooling that much basket weave on long, curved straps. I would be holding a nice whisky bottle tight and hoping it never happened again.

No doubt. Didn't realized we offered that small basket stamp on that martingale. That was removed as an option as soon as this order came in!

The kids have been wanting to make some things for sale for a while. We came across the National Parks Field Notes books and ordered their set of 18 memo books.

They came up with a plan to make notebook covers for all 18 of them. Go big or go home I guess. They even have a plan for the profit, half back to supplies and half in savings. They did all of the tooling and the majority of the work, I stitched them on the Cobra 4. At 7 and 9 years old I was pretty proud of them for following through and finishing them all, they did a really great job. We'll be selling them in our Newsletter this week, wish them luck!

A big thanks to Dave for letting me pick his brain and giving us some good project advice, Thanks Dave, I really appreciate it.

Hi guys! Its been a while since I posted so you might find this interesting since its &such category . I made a sheat for a waiter for a pen and bottle opener, folding knife sheath, knife sheath for a little elongated knife, horrizontal carry, then pancake sheath for myself, with thick leather and first time succesful stamping with that type of stamp, one blackjackfor a friend, belt wich I stitched on singer 45k which I purchased recently, and started practising stitching, then belt with braided slider/keyfob, coinsap/wallet, braided sliders/keyfobs and another coinsap. Except for that belt all is hand stitched, hope you like it!

Redmeadow Knives Redmeadow Knives I'm always impressed how you cant see the foot marks next to your machined stitching.
Thanks. I'm sure they're there if you look in the right light. I've got the pressure foot threaded almost all the way out on top of my Cobra 4, not sure if that's a good practice but it seems to keep that foot from digging in. Though I could probably improve my stitch lines if I tightened it down, need to experiment with that.

Will do Dave, they'll be glad to hear it!

Thanks, I agree! I'll let them know you said that.
Great lil vid too! Excellent. Gotta tell Roy it went from felt to Stormy Krommer's around here!

Had to put a thicker belt loop on this frog, since the knife turned out a bit handle-heavy:
Very nice!

Finished up this holster: For a Smith Shield in .45:

Interestingly the only other outside knife to make a sheath for in this batch was another Benchmade and dang if not the same knife just different handle treatment. Also while both were for SOB carry this one was to point the other way., also basket stamped.

Finished off a Rangeflap holster too. First one I'd done in a while:

And of course a batch of my own knives and sheaths:

A Sonoran Hunter in spectacular (and the pics really don't do the handle justice), ironwood:

That is a great batch of knives time. The Sonoran Hunter, and the Ranchero, and the ram horn Mestano were my favorites, but they are all really nice looking. It’s always interesting to me to see which ones go first on there. It doesn’t seem like there’s too much rhyme or reason to it. Beautiful, highly functional work as always. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks yeah just no figuring which goes first. Its fun, Nichole and I place bets sometimes.

Got a new stamp ;) and was making a sheath for a friend that gifted me this knife, started out trying the stretch and bend leather forming so as to match the curve of the knife handle. I was figuring that the softer milled leather might be able to do that and it did, but I ended up with a tight fitting sheath, which I didn't want to risk sending to him as his knives may be a wee bit different in overall size and I didn't want him to struggle, so I made a second one, more straight forward and that came out pretty nice as well and he could then also use it for different knives if he wanted.

This is the knife;

and this is the one sent off to him, the new stamp I thought worked out well for the border, then used some bag kote with highlighter mixed in to darken up the stamps to provide some contrast

Of course not the fancy dan things you guys are posting up, but it's what I've been up to ;)
