Whacha Been Up To......

Simple stamps make things look a little different
This slip sheath has stitching down both sides and used a large curved stamp at the top that I’ve owned for over 30 years which is crazy to think about!

The shell stamp and the bottom and side stamps are stainless steel bought from Weaver Leather

Thanks, I stumbled upon this type of leather at the Tandy Leather store in Syracuse NY, it's a Veggie Tan Milled leather that is quite soft and flexible yet still allows you to emboss it too. The dye was applied using an airbrush which gives a nice even coating. And then I used bagkote over each embossing and once dried I used another coating with some hightlighting mixed with bagkote to darken the embossings.

Fantastic my friend. Wow.

Simple sheath for my Benchmade Griptilian View attachment 2047773
Very nice.

Working on a batch of knives myself. Some of the wood handled ones drying in the shop overnight after the finish has been wet sanded on em:

Those that don't have a finish getting hand sanded (handles):

Next day they are all buffed and sharpened and ready for their final cleaning, polishing, oiling and lanyard thong:

I know at least one of those beauties is coming to west Texas 🙌

This was too difficult for my level of experience. Stitching through 5 layers of leather isn't easy.

Looks pretty good to me too!

Nichole finished this purse the other day, first time she ever made one with a zipper closure:
