What are you watching & why? (splain)

Just watched a a special post-run showing of Gran Turismo at my local AMC which I missed when it was initially released back in August.

It's a "true story" about a Gran Turismo simulator "gamer" named Jann Mardenborough, who became a real GT & Formula 1 race car driver.

I really enjoyed the movie and I'd give it a 5 out of 5 for the driving/action/special effects and a 3-4 (depending on the scene) for the acting.

But the movie reallly is all about the cars and the driving and, if you're a car geek, speed freak and/or auto racing fan, like I am, and, if you haven't seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it.

It's no longer in most theaters but it's available to stream & will be out soon on DVD.

I'm definitely going to buy a copy of the DVD when it's released.The movie even tempts me to get & set up a Gran Turismo game simulator at home but I'm really going to try to resist this impluse. LOL! 🙏

Forgot about this show.

Just took a quick look at it and it's promising but I have an issue with the "blue eye" thing . . . just another "Last Samurai" or "Shogun" where the white guy is lead in a story/film set in Asia but, if I like the series, I'll get over it but I'll be "all over it," if I don't.

LOL! ;)

Close to the end of episode 1 ...... I like it!!!!!

And nope not a white guy lol
 
Watched the first 2 episodes of Blue Eye Samurai. It's a fantastic looking series and the story is great so far. Really well done fight choreography and some beautiful scenery.

I wanted to finish Blue Eye Samurai last night, but it was 2am. One more episode to go, but this show has exceeded my expectations.

Love the way they intertwine the back story with the present. The attention to detail on the sword forging process is a lot of fun.

I've been tuned into the new season of invincible.... I'm a little put off. They're kind of going the way of the marvel universe films.

I'm really excited for Friday though. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is going to start! yoko yoko , I completely understand if it's too traumatic for you! 😆
