In all honesty, thank god I married a woman who enjoys cheesy/funny martial arts movies.

Sidenote - I don't think I won her over to John Woo, though. Which I'm surprised by, because I always thought of "Bullet in the Head" as one of his more sensitive, emotionally-driven tales for the ages.

Nah. We are never more subjective than when we are viewing art, which cinema is a form of. I happen to think that most pro movie critics are sour individuals who hate fun but they make a living out of peddling their opinions so what do I know?

You do you, man. Rock what you like, your opinion of a film is really all that matters.
