What are you watching & why? (splain)

Then Daemon falsely raises a white flag to lure the enemy out and attacks them single handedly, somehow runs across the battlefield alone (killing everyone he meets while avoiding volleys of arrows falling from the sky) towards the opposing leader until he's finally hit by a couple of arrows and is about to be overrun and killed by 100's of soldiers who are surrounding him, when (of course) a dragon flies in to burn everyone around him to death which allows him to hunt down and kill the opposition leader while the 2 sides engage in a pretty butal hand-to hand battle scene.

Crazy but at least entertaining in the end. LOL! ;)
That was the exact plan that they were already showing on the board before the messenger came. 😜

Untold on Netflix, “The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist”.

Sometimes you don’t realize how terrible people are until you see a story like this and look back at the reaction and narrative that started. I remember the events when they happened but holy shit, after seeing this show and really listening to Manti and his family, along with the perpetrator of the whole thing, I never realized how bad it really was and then how far the media absolutely ran Manti into the ground.

What an absolutely terrible experience for him, I genuinely feel sad and can’t imagine the mind f*** that Manti deals with daily because of it all.

The wife and I jumped back into season two of The Borgias. We’d seen season one when it came out, then forgot all about it. Jeremy Irons is freaking epic. Looks like there are three seasons in total. Great show.

Half way through "House of the Dragon"

BIG meh. Dislike the teenage portion. Dislike the filler. BIG MEH.

WITHOUT SPOILERS, I disliked the "competition". One need only to understand the historic rules of the game first to understand my dislike.

DISLIKE the "teeny bopper" influence. In my humble opinion, this book adaptation to film was not meant for a teenage audience and should therefore not cater to such groups. Such is Hollywood/streaming services. They will cater to as many audiences as they can that will provide money to view. Bah.
I enjoyed the battle with the crab feeders.

Yeah...we watched the first few seasons...until we felt like it was the same thing over and over. Definitely had its moments.

I kind of felt the same. The magic of a once wealthy family trying to fit into a lifestyle they never dreamed they would descend into kind of wore off after they got settled and halfway comfortable.

Ok went to the movies tonight. Was talked into seeing Barbarian , new horror drama movie out. DO NOT waste your time or money on this !!!! IMO horrible movie all the way around. It was so bad that words can’t explain lol
Now I like the old horror movies, like Halloween ,Friday the 13th. Not into the gory in your face blood and guts stuff. But this movie was neither and was just horrible. Just my opinion and a fair warning lol.

My daughter was trying to convince me to watch Barbarian in the theater and I was excited at first thinking it was a new medieval sword adventure. Then she showed me the trailer and I told her I would wait for it to come home.

Currently on season 2 of Yellowstone. I'm enjoying the show so far, even though there's a lot of manufactured drama in the show. I'm sure they'll get deeper into the relationships between the characters, but so far, there's a lot of hate between a few that hasn't been explained yet.
