What Benchmade do you have on the way?

Just confirmed the 530 mentioned is on the way. Nothing like knowing there's something in the mail...:)

This beauty should be here tomorrow. Waited too long to get the PE version, but this will do.

Knifeworks photos.

Even rarer than the PE version. ;)

I've got a Ritter Mini Grip on the way, I'm pretty excited about it. I've been carrying a Sage 1 for about half a year now, but ever since I got my father a custom Mini Grip for Christmas, I've been craving another one.

Thanks for the pics; mine's supposed to arrive this afternoon, will have to see what it looks like...!

It's a pretty sweet little 530. The only thing I don't like about it is that it seems like there was a lack of F&F on the edges and contours of the CF. Don't know if this is for the whole run, or if mine was just an isolated incident.

I will say this my friends; received my 530-1302 in the mail this afternoon, courtesy of Roger at Knifeworks, and was not happy. The blade was off-center, easily fixed, but the real issue was with the CF scales having multiple dings easily seen. In just a few minutes with fine wet/dry emery paper those were sanded off, which IMO should have never been shipped as "ready to go". Afterwards, with the blade centered and dings (mostly) gone, I am reasonably satisfied, and as as a result will not have to send this knife to BKC for warranty service. I also want to say I sent an email to the KW sales desk asking to talk to Roger in the morning on Friday, to register my complaint. These knives look like they were made in a hurry and from the number of complaints here and on the Benchmade Forum reflect the problem the less than 30 participants are having with this shipment. ...Joe

Yeah, there were a few of us not quite satisfied with them. I can live with the lackluster F&F, but shouldn't have to when paying a premium for a BM LE. Wasn't super excited with the hardware choice either, but it'll do.

Here's a few photos, as a followup, of the knife...with a silver split arrow and smoother scales it looks pretty good:
