What Buck Do You Have on Order? Or in the Mail?

I have been rather "BUCKY" the past few weeks!

I purchased:
*103 & 105 Pro's
*I bought back the protoype for the Pro version, 103 & 105 with combo sheath that I sold off. I really wanted the combo sheath back!

Traded into:
*120 Pro! Just received it. Rather nifty!

Purchased but returned because they sent the wrong knife!
*Bought the 119 Pro from Cabelas.....they sent the standard version, no box and it looked used! Sure hope I get my money back on it!

Purchased but not delivered;
*110 Auto Elite - new
*117 Pro - new
*560 - used

I am trying to decide if I want to try to get another 119 Pro or just forget about it. I have been eyeing the Alpha Scout with walnut scales. Thinking really hard on that one!

Sounds like you're getting some really nice ones, there! Sorry about your experience with the 119, hopefully they'll make it right. Got any photos to share?

I made a trade last week that resulted in a 2018 Forum Buck 301 elk showing up in my mailbox along with $100 cash in the box. That extra $100 of knife money reminded me that it would go a long way towards the Koa and brass 112 with the 440C original shape blade that I've been resisting for the better part of a year now. Well, I no longer have that $100. Come on Mr. Postman, do your thing!

Good choice, I love mine. 👍 And they're on sale!

I've got a 100th anniversary 112 headed my way. Eventually. Does anyone still follow the USPS tracking on their packages? Its like watching a 2 year old with an etch-a-sketch. There's one distribution center here that must be just chaotic. Packages stall out for 2 to 3 days often. My 112 did, and then went about 70 miles in the wrong direction. To all of the good people who work for the U.S. postal service, thank you for what you do. To the slackers (you know who you are), TIGHTEN UP!
Thanks for letting me rant.
That is all.

I try to take it in perspective & give USPS credit sometimes. I know their stamp prices just went up, but where else can I have a birthday card, for instance, picked up from my mail box, carried clear across the country & put in my sister's mailbox a couple days later, all for 73 cents? :)

But I know how you feel about USPS tracking. I don't pretend to understand the mechanics of it, but it's funny how a package can pass right by my house on it's way to a distribution center 50 miles away, so it can be delivered two days later. I have to admit though, that our postal package delivery here is way better than UPS. For the last couple years, when I get a package delivered by UPS it's dirty, like it's been dragged across a warehouse floor, and beat all to hell & back. It used to be the other way around.

I worked for UPS briefly, several years ago. I will NOT ship anything through them. And that's all I have to say about that. 🤔
