What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Yesterday - Cleared some juniper/oak/acacia trees/limbs to access some metal racks with my 9, and opened 4 boxes at the post office w/ my 11.

Today - So far, I've opened 6 packages at the post office with my 11, worked on laser jigs for the 16 and 17.

Took a scouring pad to my BK9 and removed the majority of the wear marks and scuffs on the coating. It looks revitalized and practically new again.

WickedEdge is sitting on my desk at the moment.

Buddy at work surprised me and told me I could use it for the weekend; so long as I sharpen a few of his blades as well. (I recommended that setup to him and he has been forever grateful)

The BK's (2/16/11) will be getting a mini spa treatment, along with my crappy kitchen knives. Still awaiting a chance to buy the Becker Kitchen set to replace those with.

Took Freya out to the woods and chopped and stabbed and posed with. Cleared lots of thorny weeds out of my way on a couple off trail paths.

Awesome day. My knife never disappoints. Never go on a hike without it.

Stripped one of my 14's for a project:

At first I didn't really get why people decided to strip the black coating, but after doing one, already planning what to do with my 3!

That does it. I'm getting a seven. I love the way they look stripped, unpolished and ramp-less.

Thanks, I think it turned out pretty well. I have been putting her to work and the finish is holding up pretty well. The ramp-less mod is much better for actual use.

Cut some clothesline with my 14 to stabilize a couple fence posts while I dug out around them and reinforced with concrete.

While digging out around the posts, used my 3 to chop through some roots so I could move soil with the shovel more easily.

Opened a dozen+ bottles of Angry Orchard Apple Ale and a few bottles of beer from Feb 08, Sept 09, and 1 or 2 from 2012. The beer was drunk up, but comments were made about my "vintage" beer.

Cut some grass with the 24. My son missed a spot in the yard, so as his backup I took care of it real quick-like.

Also disassembled a box for the recycle bin.

does it count if it happened yesterday?

stuck it in a fallen tree we saw on our walk.

then made a snack when we got back.

Sorry no pics, but I stripped off the first half inch of paint away from the edge of my 16.I kinda like it but it looks too much like the tops bob for my liking , so i might just strip it all the way.

Cleared a holly bush that over the years has turned into "Bushzilla, Devourer of Homes" with my 7.

Well, I didn't actually chop the thing down with the 7. I'm not a masochist. But it did come in handy clearing up the branches and whatnots afterwards.

I cut down about 10 cardboard boxes at work with my BK14. I think my edge needs a little touching up tonight.

Yesterday, I BDC'd (Brew Day Carried) my BK-14. The highlight of its day was peeling 4oz. of fresh ginger before I grated it to make a fresh sodastyle Ginger Ale (carbonating now). Also some tasks such as trimming hoses and utility stuff whilst the Irish red came to fruition.
