What did you do to/with your Becker today?

We pulled the 4 remaining tree stands from bow season of last fall today.
Didnt really need or use Overlord (9) but I was in the woods so it comes with never know who or what you'll run into out there.
Also pulled this pix from a trail cam today.

Overlord in the woods

Hey GSOM........

Broke down some boxes and did a little modding on two with my Eleven and used it to cut some cordage, scraped some glue off the big counter in the shop.......Just stuff.....

Had a nice little fire in the firepit last night. Used my seven to split out the kindling (Then I doused it with lighter fluid because I was ready to sip Yuengling by the fire with my wife. Bushcrafty ain't it? :D)

Is that a bobcat or just a feral cat?

Broke down some boxes with the 15 the other day.
Then polished it up, and started shaping new scales to fit the tang. I'd show you, if my photobucket would behave...

Cut up some tomaters and onions with my BK24. First Becker and really liking it. I'm the kind of person that if everybody likes a certain brand and everybody recommends something I HAVE TO CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE:). I'm just weird like that. Might be the reason i don't own XDM's anymore cause everyone's got one and always saying there the best. But I am seeing why so many talk up the Becker's.

Took my brand new BK-11 for some passes on the worksharp field sharpener. Also did the same to the BK-24 I purchased for my girlfriend to keep in her car.

I went in to the knife store to get a BK-9, alas they were out so I had to have him order it for me...I didn't want to leave empty handed so I naturally bought more Beckers haha. Most definitely an addiction come to fruition.

My 11 was a workhorse today...
Cut up nearly 2 full rolls of shipping tape boxing up stuff at my mother's lake house to get things ready to move the stuff out.
Opened 4 packages at the post office.
Opened a few "factory packaged" items while waiting on my sister to find a pair scissors to open the packages. :D
Cut up a roll of bubble wrap into manageable size pieces.
Touched up the edge on the 11 with a strop.

Removed a little rust from my BK14. Probably serves me right for letting non knife people (a buddy of mine) use a carbon steel knife, but i honestly thought a grown man could use a knife without supervision...
He had the knife for, litteraly, 30 seconds, used it to cut some lemon or something and resheathed it without wiping off the blade. I'll be paying close attention to anyone using my knives from now on:grumpy:

Used the 14 to cut up some Nueske's applewood smoked bacon, 12 month aged Irish cheddar, and some English muffins. Fried some eggs and needlessly cut them in half with the 14 (instead of a spatula, just because). Paired all of that with a damn fine brown ale.

I drilled into the Bocote slabs that I've had put aside. I had to order a pulley belt for my cheap drill press, it was holding up progress.

Time to hit the rack though, Happy Easter Pilgrims!

Stripped blade and added patina. Also added lanyard, which greatly improves the grip for me. Then touched up the edge on the sharpmaker.
