what do you guys do

General assistance at a small business. I manage our websites, inventory, help with sales and marketing, coordinate staff meetings, some product development, work trade shows, write reports (go go Jet Reports!), and drive forklift. Degree is in Business, focusing on Finance, and Information Systems.

Many hats.

Student at some lame university in Nebraska that used to have a decent football team most of the year, work maintenance at a state park full time and do work on the farm during the summer.

Finished my Associate's and Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, and am preparing to move to South Florida for a job as a Law Enforcement Deputy Sheriff. I did a few different things while in school, but the absolute best job I've ever had was as a Grounds Technician at a Golf Course. All the golf you can play (including free range time), and 99% of the job was spent outside in a gorgeous environment. There were (are) many times that I considered forgetting about LE and switching to agriculture. When I retire, I WILL be cutting fairways.

Mortgages for me. I am currently brokering my mortgages after selling my company 2 years ago. 18 years in this business I have seen it all. I love the mortgage business from a financial aspect but it is not the time to enter it now, given the current economy. Good luck with your search.

Lawyer (hence the "J.D."). Doing a little of everything. Recently got crosswise with the boss, and am now looking for other lawyering work. Know any openings in the Phoenix area, anyone?

I am currently working in Arctic Canada as a survey/field technician for a mining/exploration company. We are at the top of Nunavut, about 40km south of the Arctic ocean. I fly back and forth from the field everyday in a helicopter. I have also worked as a fishing guide for 6+ years and I was an archaeologist for several years as well.

I've been a Network Administrator for a database company for about 3 years now,
but before that I spent 18 years working in a broadcast complex (tv station and 2 radio stations).
The last 6 years of those 18 were spent as a broadcast engineer (specializing in automation and
networking systems), but basically, I'm just a computer nerd.
I've been involved with computers and computer systems in one way or another since 1980.

I remember the first computer I worked on. I was able to walk inside it to make
electro-mechanical adjustments to the card reader...:eek::eek:
It was at our local university. Things have changed quite a bit since then.

I´m a fulltime church planting missionary in Brazil. That means I take small churches and stick with them until they are able to stand on their own. I started life as a Highschool history teacher. My first teaching job was here in Brazil teaching American kids. I fell in love with the place. Mac

I'm an Applications Developer / Web Developer. I also do Systems Administration and Database Administration.

I am a scientist at a biotech company. I focus mostly on biological assays that invlolve the coagulation cascade. We have a very diverse group on these forums! That's awesome.

Co-Owner in a family business. Shipping, like the UPS store only not. Working with family is hard, but working with the general public is even more difficult. I'm a 20 mile a week runner who eats a damn good diet and hits the weights but I have high blood pressure. I went for an overnighter in some beautiful country this weekend and my systolic pressure came down 20 freakin' mmhg.

I'm working on a 3 year phase out though. About 3 years ago I found that I did have a passion for something that could pay the bills. I started Volunteer Firefighting. Since I realized it's what I want to do with my life, I've been training hard and plan to have a fulltime firefighter job by the end of the year and still run this place part time. But I plan to be removed from here within 3 years. I may even work on as an EMT as I'm already certified.

I received my bachelors degree in Acounting in December and will begin law school in August. Meanwhile, I'm working in sales for the family business.
