Well..whenever I was in the feild for a while in the Army..I would miss BEER..and the thought of a Snickers bar would drive me insane..that was only because I couldnt have one. I think that if I was in the woods for a long time I would miss chinese food or something like that..maybe burger king...greasy junk food! Basically, I think that all of us would miss sweet food and salty food...thats just what it would be like. I would assume that we might even forget what that kind of food tasted like..IMO that would be a good thing..I hate the way I eat. This ofcourse is not including BEER..becuase I would grow some wheat and hops and hook it up...If I couldnt then I would just fling myself off a cliff. Gene
I can't say what I'd miss the most but I can tell you what I'd ask for upon returning from being stuck for a long period. A sub. Not a SubWay or Quizno's crap sandwich but a real, deli made submarine sandwich. Hot ham and provolone, loaded!
A cold Belles Two Hearted Ale would definately be missed.
i think i might miss milk the most...i drink alot of it...during the summer up to a gallon a day some days...if i had nothing else, i think i would probably be alright living just on milk.
but i know i would also miss things like cookies and icecream and crescent rolls...
after a month in the desert a few years ago, I was about ready to stab six dudes for a pizza from the pie here in SLC. I spent the first week back doing nothing but eating out. I really missed ovaltine, lasagna, and english muffins for some reason, too.
Sugar free red bull. Its my lifeblood. I eat pretty healthy, mostly lean meat and veggies, I could get pretty close to that in the woods. But I would go wacky w/o my sugar free red bull.
