If I were the doctor I would slap that puppy on EBAY!!!

"Knife Marked Mad Dog ATAC #001 (See pics for description/condition)"
Would that be dishonest Parker?
Then Parker can email every bidder in his quest for knife authenticity justice..
A.G. has several good pictures on the site
Let the BUYER decide if it's fake or not
Who cares what Parker says?
He is just a guy trying to interfere in a private (potential) business transaction..IMHO
I say kindly get the F out of my transaction
Let ME decide if it's real or not
Wouldn't the
informed Mad Dog collectors know (or speculate) if it's "real" or not based on the pictures?
The ones who know what the blade length is supposed to be, for example?
Supposing YOU bought it, and forget it is a Mad Dog and this is AG Russell. Call it Maker A and Seller/ Purveyor B. You'd be fucking PISSED. You'd be thinking about your money, spent on a fake, a forgery.
I would be mad at
myself for not making an
informed cutlery purchase
Just like I was mad at myself for buying a NEW Schrade and finding out it
really is a NEW Schrade (made by Taylor Brands LLC.)
And I was mad at myself when I bought that Western L39 with crappy pictures and it had major Dremel marks on the blade
And the Union Cutlery knife I bought without asking the length of the blade and find out it's about 3/4 of an inch too short
This issue has come up in BRL's forum a few times
One or a few guys say it's a fake and want it "pulled" from the market (whatever that market/site may be)
C'mon - think about it - knife sells for $10,000 (your price at one time on the Cutting Edge) - what's that do for his current work in terms of making it more desireable?
You sure put a dent it that plan Parker

Everyone could have been happy
The doctor gets his money
A.G. gets his cut
The buyer goes to bed knowing he has a POTENTIAL ATAC 1st run/prototype
Current Mad Dog knife owners are happy because the "value" of their knives go up
McClung dude can charge more money for his knives
The only guy who would be upset is Parker
Actually Parker said it best himself===>
But if you are stupid enough to believe that in fact it is exactly as marked, I would suggest looking at knives from a distance, ooo'ing and ahhh'ing rather than BUYING, and particularly pricey ones at that
