Most of those look like the Billhooks the British “lay” hedges with. Although I’m sure they would have been useful in a trench. I doubt they were issued.
Actually British soldiers were issued with loads of billhooks in France. For utility, of course. They're the British version of the tropical bolo. But then, the Brits were obviously comfortable enough to use them in CQC. Billhooks were used in warfare since the medieval ages.British WW1 trench raiding weapons

What were they saying about this knife in the video? It looked like they were comparing it to an Ontario USMC knife at one point. In some ways it resembles the Glock Field Knife, except with leather washers for the handle.
