What kind of folder do you carry?

Thanks. The knife is a laser and the action on it is among the best of any knife I have ever had. I did a passaround of the knife a few months ago and I would encourage you to read some of the reviews.

I would also send Matej a PM here on the forums as he will respond though give him a little time because he is busy as heck. Check in the folders for sale by maker sub-forum and keep an eye out ecause Matej posts a new available knife there from time to time. Here is a link:

Finally, @woodysone posted a pic of his knife a page or two above. Check it out. It is a great example of what Matej can do.

If you can get on his list, even if the wait is until December, I would encourage you to do so. I think you'll be happy that you did.

There are some very favorable comments made about the knife in the passaround thread. I think that I will send him a message and see what he has to say. Now I need to choose a blade shape. I like the drop point, dagger and persian (in no particular order). I think that I could be happy with any of the ones I am looking at. Thanks for the information and links. I will keep my eyes open.

The differences between the one I had personally converted by Butch and the new one that I believe to be one from the PVK batch are pretty intriguing...internally mine even has torx screws vs. slotted.

I picked up a. Spydie PM2 in K390... this may be my new favorite carbon steel pocket knife blade. I've been purposely careless, hacking away and dragging the point cutting fruits and veggies on a hard corian cutting board.

Think splitting an apple, purposely clacking the edge, just to see what it will take.

I simply cannot detect any edge or point damage yet, after about 3-4 good weeks of daily driving. And still very sharp after I stropped it one time.

I have been doing much of the same with my Para 3 Cruwear plus opening shipping boxes for equipment, fittings etc. and it is pretty impressive stuff. Spyderco does a great job for mass produced blades.

I have one with the drop point blade.
Awesome stuff.
Send him a message!

Traded into a BM 87 but the blade was warped so I called into BM about getting it fixed. They gave me a shipping label and RMA# but before I could send it in they came out with the 85, so, I called and they agreed to put the 85 blade into my 87- BAM, new 85 without the first run billboard on the blade. It arrived at my house right when the dealers stock arrived, I think I have the first one in the wild without the first production mark. it showed up in perfect condition, and after a drop of KPL on the bearings is so smooth that I’m amazed every time I flip it around.
here are some before photos, and a couple after.
