What knife makes the best sound?

Kershaw Offset, either of the aluminum handled versions.

Dual torsion bars, heavy blade, big aluminum handles, and the way the stud lock sounds when it hits.

Manix full or 83mm

Lost his, heard mine from across the room and went into withdrawal. I've never seen a six foot grown man with a fox tail on his hat cry before....

My best AO is my cyclone.Authority when it opens.

My best liner lock is my Emerson CQC-13.When i wave it open at work it echos in the office.

Best fixed would be my Hellrazor in the molded Spec-ops survival sheath I have for it.It sounds like a knife that badass should sound.

Best sword is my old Katana. There's a small ring of brass in the top of the sheath that connects with the Tsuba when it's sheathed with a sweet ping sound.

Many other have said it - Buck 110.

There's nothing else like that sound and I especially like the sound of my Buck 110 because my father gave it to me for Xmas when I was 16. It still sounds as great as Day 1 when locking up and that was nearly 26 years ago!

Best sounding automatic would be my ZT 0610ST. It makes a solid whack with a push of the button--and oh, the RECOIL! :D

The ZT 0301, if you open it via the thumbstuds as if it were a manual folder sounds just sick as well.

Nothing like the thwack of a waved Emerson

MY ZT0500 MUDD sounds sweet when you open it rather slow.

click-click-CLACK.

If it had one more click it would sound like an old Colt SAA cocking.

The Kershaw Ram sounds pretty sweet as well, like you just chambered a round:cool::thumbup:

i really like the wolverine clawlike Snikt! of my leek, i also like just how silent i can make my Griptilian with a lil bit of concentration

Of my knives, I prefer the sound of the ZT0500. The smooth sound of the mechanism releasing and then clicking back into place is great. When I hear that I know I'm ready to do business.

There's the added benefit is that there's never grit in the mechanism. Even after a week climbing desert sandstone, or wallowing around in a muddy cave.
For sure, it sounds like your cocking a gun, love that sound :D
Oh the kershaw Ram,has a similar sound, although not as hefty.

My wife gets pissed when I play with my Millies, she can hear the THAWHACK sound from the other room.

I added a little tension to the lock bar.. When this thing is opened.. The explosive lock up rattle's my arm..;) KLACK!

Something about the one piece titanium handle of the Lochsa gives the sound a solid resonating "T'ank". Closely followed by the solid "Thwack!" sound of my of my 4" DDR Mad Maxx III being waved open as I pull it from my pocket.

5.56, This must be the "before picture" prior to the "Goblins" creation? Which by the way is a GREAT looking knife:thumbup::cool:
