What knife would you like to see next from CPK?

After a short Google session, I will be buying that BRT spoon. I sincerely hope to have a Carothers spoon as well. Imagine scraping some burnt on potatoes off your cast iron pan with your 61.5 HRC D3V stonewashed spoon. Antique Micarta scales.. cause this is my daydream and I want antique micarta on there somewhere.

This is making me :) but really, what good is just a spoon?

What we really need is a spoon, fork......and a matching steak knife!! ;)

Yes.. something I can roll up in leather and take with me when I'm out with the wife.

Case in point: I dislike liver and onions to an extreme degree. But I am absolutely positive that I could down two servings of it so long as I were able to enjoy it with CPK flatware :)

I just looked up that brt spoon and heres something i never thought i would say in my life but Damm thats a nice spoon. That may be the purchase that finally sends my wife over the edge haha

American Kami also has a few spoons/forks/sporks available. Ti and Made in the USA.

A SHIV pre-order would be lucrative for the Carothers family........just sayin'
Definitely agree, I would be in for ATLEAST 2, and would also like to see Jo (The Ninja Machinist) do another Video demonstration in the dark with the Shiv!:eek::D

Yea I'd likely end up taking one too, though I would prefer a UF I think. I'm hoping my NASK's make me not want another fixed blade.

Personally part of the allure of the Shiv is it's rarity. It's not really a knife with a use that is too common. Nathan's made a bunch of them so he probably has enough fish to fry that he won't get back to this one for a while.

I really look forward to the Bladesport knife, NASK and the BC, but still can't help but want something like the FK, but thinner stock and non-wedge pommel. Something for the whittling and finesse tasks.

Waiting to see some specs on the medium chopper, this blade had peaked my interest from what I've read so far.

It's basically a HC in .220 stock with a tweak to the handle. The weight and bevel geometry will work out better in that thickness material for the length.

And a full flat grind. Though I may prefer the exposed end of the tang as is for tapping and hammer strikes.

Happy 4th! Today represented the perfect example of why I continue to push for an anorexic offering. While the EDC did well enough during lunch and dinner, I couldn't help but observe that it was not able to laser through chops without compressing them. Dozens of gathered friends and family, good times and the perfect occassion to showcase knives against a continuous stream of barbecued goods...
