What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Those are fantastic! I'd love to find one of those Swayback Barlows.
I pulled the trigger on one of those on the bay a while back. Was really excited to win it, even though it was more than I'd ever spent on a knife. Looked great from all the posted pics, but... it came in a few days later and it was completely warped along the length... blades started centered and ended at the sides of the wells. So disappointing, fortunately I was able to return it.

I certainly like them both, Harry, but the Swayback does strike my fancy a wee bit more.

got 20+ of these 1st gen Bulldog Brand Barlows, evey single knife was top notch, no flaws.

they deserve a second chance.
