What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Yes, gave the Keen and the Cam a bath, some Flitz, and some new oil.
They look awesome and really added some authenticity to my collection. Thank you again Harry.:thumbsup:

Yes, two Imperials and one Colonial single blade.
The two Imperials are cheap but they are so well made and solid.
I especially like the sheepsfoot, don't see those very often.:thumbsup:

Thank you, Taylor.

That's a really tough question...
The TC is special of course because it was a knife given to me by Meako and it's a forum knife.
The Heartshead is special because it's so "traditional", very exclusive, and makes me think of friends.
Finally, the Camillus is special because I always wanted an old bone handled authentic Barlow, and it fits perfectly.

Meako did a sweet job with the Flipper Bait.

That old bone Camillus is an amazing knife!

I think Queen made a nice solid Barlow. That's just going by the four examples that I have.

This is not the extent of my Barlows , but it is all of the TC Barlows that I have and I am very happy to have gotten that many . Thanks to btb01 btb01 Barrett and another friend for my being able to get 2 of them .

Harry

Lest we forget : GEC is not the only ones who have made good Barlows :

An old SEO&S and a TC 14

Good looking bunch of Barlows, Harry!

Here are a few of my Barlows.

Some new and old favorites.

Some of Charlie's TCs

This was my favorite spearpoint Barlow until my Grail appeared.

And then my Grail spearpoint and TC Barlow appeared (IMHO GEC and Charlie's masterpiece). It has probably the best blade to handle size ratio of any of my many knives. And it is my avatar. :) I kinda like it.

Very nice collection. I especially like the coping Ancient; there’s just something about those scratted covers.
