Just got this Chinese made Queen and for $20 you can’t go wrong. Compared to my RR barlow for the same price, I think the RR is more snappy and has a little better fit and finish. IMHO both are a good value for the money.

Very nice Charlie and just about impossible to find, I've only seen extremely worn ones.

Those two in the middle, the crescent nick walnut? covered barlows are the ones that I have admired most over the years, but alas... their likeness to the others is considerably higher than the TI covered knife.

I’ve never used a Barlow but to me they look stout, simple and easy in a pocket.

However I still havn’t caught the bug on them and for that I am grateful because those U.S.A made ones command a premium!

I’d say this one would make a good, traditional barlow. Nothing set in stone yet, of course.
