Thanks for your forbearance for all these pictures, everyone, and for your kind words. Your good company means a lot to me. I shall pass along your blessings and well-wishes to my son and his wife.
I still find it very refreshing that a woman would share, what I have always assumed was a male passion, interest in pocketknives! I hope that doesnt come off as sexist....
Oh, not at all sexist-- yours is an accurate assessment of rather straightforward demographics. I'm glad y'all will have me in this particular "boys' club."
Now that you're a mother-in-law...

... Still new, that!

start stashing some extra Charlows. Before you know it there'll be a handful of little Pertinux-looking babes crawling and running around.

I like the way you think!
I've actually already come at this t'other way around, of late: "Wow, look at all my knives. Hunh.
"Wait, there will likely be grandkids, someday...."
All but two of these young people are mine (the two young women of darker hair and dresses have been their friends from the get-go):
Much more Life yet to come!
(And may we someday change your signature to "Granny ~P")
O, my.
... I daresay there's a good chance that any grandchildren from this new couple will be stunning:
... once their newborns are out of that wrinkled, unwashed fruit stage, of course.
Just saw the pix and story ~P. Congratulations to the Happy Couple. And the Beaming Mother of the Groom!
Thanks, Bob! As the proceedings wound down and the work ramped up again, some of the groomsmen couldn't find me-- I'd changed back into my civvies, and they no longer recognized me.
One last glimpse, to show more of the lovely venue (and that there were more than 5 guests present, as was perhaps unclear in earlier pictures, heh):
