What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Was not expecting Eastwood staring me down :) That's great. I'm trying my hardest not to find the stag TC anywhere. I already have the one-armed red saw cut and the walnut on the way. My wife may kick me to the couch if I grab another. Then again, the couch is comfy ...

I sure hope they are - as long as Paypal doesn't think someone hacked my account with all those frequent add to cart clicks I have made. I have been quite busy on matters that are more important than cartoons! ;):D

Primble - I hope you don't get over your cartoon craze too soon as I've been getting a kick out of it. Think I'll just hang out here and wait to see the 'photo-finish'... hopefully I won't get hauled off to the glue factory before the pictures are posted.

As long as the cartoons don't become an end in themselves or become a distraction from the discussion of knives, they're OK. (They must be. I've been known to post a cartoon or two on occasion myself, and Gary hasn't infracted me.)

I used to write these "rants" as I call them, at the last minute, because an incipient deadline frees my persistent writer's block. But since Sarah (Pertinux) has helped me with some editing, I no longer fear Foot-in-Mouth disease as much, so GEC is no longer sticking them on on the way to the post office!!

I think that's my favorite Charlow 'back label' to date, Charlie. So much so, that I want to share it with a few people, even if they have no idea what a Barlow is. Well done.

These are the only four Barlows I have....but ... I maybe sleeping on the couch next week because I have three coming. No fault of Charlie at all. Just because he has provided an amazing Barlow, with a wonderful historical connection provided, I could have resisted ... right...? :)

I'm pretty new to this forum, and traditionals really.

Those TC Barlows are simply beautiful. I'm guessing they have been released, but can't seem to find any.

Would love to have one, any flavor. Have they been released yet?

Thank you sir. I can't wait to see my new ones either. Primple's cat picture is today and maybe tomorrow. But, come Tuesday I maybe more like my dog, jumping at all noises, and trying to rip the door down to get to the mailman. :)
