I've been following this thread for a while but finally have decided to make a post. Here are the TC barlows I've been fortunate enough to acquire. The two on the left have razor blades and the middle is a spearpoint. The sheepsfoot on the right is my "user".

Nice collection, AND choice of user, JonnyB!

I was carrying a 2blade Sheepfoot TC myself today, in ivory Bone!

Apparently, greasy old wooden poles from 19th century oil wells. :D

I will be unable to make the Rendezvous this year. :( I'm betting these won't be available from dealers. :( Well, it is a beautiful knife! I'm envious of y'all that make it to Titusville. :)

A TC Charlow with natural patina. The best Barlow!

That is a nice one Mark - I have one like it. Since you're so hot on that "best Barlow" - does that mean that antique yellow saw-cut has lost it's allure?

P.S. - the "real best Barlow" resides at the very top of page 244. ;):D

Yes it has Primble! :barf::barf::barf: Not really, but you will be the first to know if that happens  :D And thanks for the compliment.

Thank you Jack! :)

Cool etch too!

Wish I could get my hands on one of these but it looks like they are only being sold at the Rendezvous. I just found this quote on their facebook:

This years Annual Rendezvous Knife! These are TC Barlows handled in genuine Oil Well Sucker Rod from the Oil Creek Valley, "The Valley that Changed the World."

Only 30 of these have been made and will be available for purchase at the rendezvous, limited to 1 per person with only 10 being sold each day.

Those are awesome! I wonder how long would it take to drive from Puget Sound to Titusville? :)

I think sucker rod was a wooden pipe used to extract petroleum from under ground. The knives with those handles are sold by GEC at the Rendezvous, and not by me.

I sold the TC bolster rights to Bill for a glass of Titusville's finest!!

(what's that? My nose is kinda itchy!! It is GROWING!!!! AHHHHH!!)*

Ok, OK, just kidding!!

* Joke stolen from Campbellclanman.

It's GOTTA be cheaper than flying, let me tell ya!

I just called up about those Rendezvous knives. I gotta get in line just like anyone else - one to a customer!!

I have a feeling I'm going to be driving to Titusville next Friday. Again... :D

It would not be again for me, but, my interest is up again. I just checked the mileage and 470 miles from here to there. 10 per day - not sure that would be very good odds.

If I thought that a two bladed antique yellow saw-cut sheep foot Charlow would be available there, now that would seal the deal. :p

I am sure there will be some nice folks there - so that is incentive as well. :)

62 hours, if you drive non stop the 1700 miles from Rapid City to the PA line, that leaves sleeping and sight seeing from Puget Sound to the Black hills.:D

470 miles is nothing. Multiply that by 20 and you're getting close to my distances :D
Now if that antique yellow saw-cut sheep foot Charlow were to be one bladed and made available, I'd hop on my private jet and be there in.....oh..hang on a minute - I don't own a private jet:thumbdn:

You guys that will be there have a good time OK? And congrats to those 30 lucky ones who will get the knife.
Linus

OK, 'fess up. Who just snagged a saw-cut razor Charlow tonight?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

And more importantly, who is going to get the last one before I'm tempted? ;)

NO need to be tempted - I fess up and the last one is gone!:D

I would not have done it if they hadn't been talking mean to me over in the other thread - just getting even! :D
