What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

My meager collection of Charlows and boys knives.
I'll try to open them up and lay them out later. The single blade sheeps foot will be my user.
 
Robust collection, Bobby! I'm sure you enjoy them very much.

Thanks guys. I come from the custom knife industry where you buy the person as much as the knife. I have always loved Barlows and had a collection of more modern Barlows, but after watching Charlies passion unfold in front of me and then having an opportunity to exchange e mails and telephone conversations with him has renewed my faith in people and the close knit world of pocket knives. I hope to be able to fit in and continue to enjoy one of my secret passions.
 
Bobby, I am sure that you will bring a hang-of-a lot to the Traditional World, but there is one thing that that you may not know of here in Traditionals, is that you must gift your first ten TC Barlows away, address incoming... :D
 
Bobby, that's a comprehensive and well chosen selection of an elite! The Boys' knives are also very worthwhile.

Bobby, Duncan is right and as I try to step in and help my old Mate with those horridly high International shipping costs, Duncan has many State side knives shipped to me first, bundled (for saving on shipping) then shipped off all in one parcel.

So, yes, yes, PLEASE ship them to me and I'll make sure Duncan rec's them;);):D Always lookin out for you Duncan:D

I'm sorry guys, I just sold the whole lot to a Nigerian businessman who offered me three times my asking price.
He is going to send his personal courier to pick them up because he is a very busy man. I better go to the bank and put these new funny looking money orders in my account and have the knives ready for pick up.;)

I think this time I will get them possibly mailed directly to me - even though there may be sharks to battle on the way over the water - the parcel may stay a little more intact - if you know what I mean :D

Hey Bobby,
Just make sure that when that special courier picks the parcel up - that its not a big Burly Lad - with a North Dakota accent, he may use the alias of Paul - just a warning thats all, Oh -and he may look slightly pale in comparison to the average Nigerian :D

I would take the Paul and Nanc option - that feller with the BARLO # 15 is scary looking - he looks like someone in line for admittance to Alcatraz !! :eek::o:o:grumpy:
