What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Oh yeah... that´s some mighty fine looking Barlow... and the package is just great - indeed!

I need to stay out of this thread... maybe the coons will buy the whole run

That cat needs a Button on its Frog-suit!!

I had my green "TC" button on my backpack and somehow it popped off :( Not the actual pin, but the button/cover part was missing when I looked this morning. Pretty bummed. But at least it looks like I might have a red one soon!

I love the changes to the labels all the time - just great. No one to date has managed to come even close to matching the depth and clarity of Cases old Red Bone.............

Until Now!!!!!

Well done Charlie- this is massive!

The hats, shoes and party favor as well? & of course the bucket labeling:thumbup:

All very neat:)

Thanks Duncan, Ron, Sarah, Phil, Andi, Mark, Robb, Jack and everyone else!

I am ever glad you are all enjoying this process!

I am also happy that the people at GEC have a sense of humor, as well notable talent to make these things for us!

My coon-like fingers are getting itchy, just like my cousin on the previous page!!

(A tip of the Tilley to Photoshop Philll!):D

Well done Charlie, two years of Barlow magic! What a piece for the anniversary too, great tube art (and hats), great button pins, great etch, extremely great bone and to top it all off, a classic knife in itself.

:)

Charlie are the brazillian rosewoods also anniversary knives also?? if not what can we expect the etching to be on these?
by the way the red soup bones are amazing., great work!

The Rosewoods are part of the Anniversary Run, JSCHENK!
The wood came up, so they just happened by coincidence! A happy coincidence!!

Thanks, Charlie! I have one preordered!, missed out on the red soupbones. As a luthier Brazillian rosewood is mosted prized, hard to come by. This knife will be most cherished.
A most happy coincidence!

Have to put my 2 pennies worth in here also Charlie. :D The RED bone is stellar, the tube art and the buttons are icing on the anniversary cake! Can't wait to get my grubby little hands on them! I would bet cash money that the Brazilian Rosewood will give the Che Chen Rosewood a run for it's money! And that is going some!!!

Posted this in the "totin" thread, but this may be one of favorite barlow pics Ive taken, even if the lighting is terrible. Number 2 is on the way. :)

Today was a special day so I thought I should carry a special one for the occasion.

Hope you all have a great night and Thanksgiving.
