What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

my 15's I know the one isn't a barlow, but I like the caplifter the same.

willydigger, what is that Charlow second from the left?!? :thumbup::eek::thumbup:
They're all beautiful, but that one is making me feel faint (and I don't think it's just because I'm tired and hungry :))!
Are the handles "checkered"? Is it clip & pen bladed? Do you have any more pictures of it to share?
I love the color; that knife looks incredible!!

Fred - those two knives - the Red Bone, and the Brazilian look absolutely gorgeous - you captured the beauty of those knives perfectly - those two are on the hunt list - I do have one on the way - but its not in my hands yet!
Wonderful photo's everyone - you guys inspire me to go out take some snaps!

Thanks, willyd! For me, that's THE grail barlow right there! You must feel 8 feet tall with that beauty in your pocket :D
(I do have to admit that I really like the "vision" I had from your "arc of barlows" of a checkered bone; I wonder if something like that exists in this universe? :)).

Thanks again for the extra pics!

True fact, Jon. :thumbup::thumbup:
But I doubt if I'll ever forget the look of your avatar knife; that's WAY up there, too!

The soup bones, specifically my "days work" are on level all by themselves :D

My "days work" is super special to me.

Nice collection, Fred.*
