What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Thanks for the pic, Jack. But a Parlow and not a Barlow... actually not my beer here. Look interestting but not really traditional at it is not pinned but strewed and the whole shape a little... well... irritating to me

And not a Barlow shape per se.

I am fortunate to have that walnut spear in my EDC rotation.

There is something special about that run of walnut spears. The F & F are a notch above usual, better than to be expected. That is a very generous gift, Duncan. And I'm sure it will be treasured for generations.

I have the sheepsfoot and clip single blade in walnut but I'm missing the spear blade! I need to find one so I can finish my collection. :)

I must've got yours, Jake! Sorry about that.

Love the spear point barlows, and those 2 are extra lovely!!
Jon, normally, I pass over the spear points. Never cared for 'em. I'm a clip blade man.

But for some reason, I was drawn to this one. I was surprised when it suddenly became my vest pocket, Sunday dress knife, one of the regulars in my rotation.

I'm the same way Scott and that's the reason I didn't grab one when Charlie first released them. Over the last year I have started to actually like the spear blade and now I'm kicking myself for not grabbing one. :) Your's looks great though!

Paul, that is a beautiful Walnut TC Spear. I have the Clip and it is one of my favorites.
Duncan, you are a very generous gentleman indeed!
Scott, that Walnut Spear of yours has some beautiful character, a great knife also!

Nah....... Paul and I have spent collectively a long time talking about Charlies Dads Walnut - so it's an important knife for Paul.
